One thing I noticed...the interiors are the same as my Palio NV 1.2 (Early 2007).
As somebody mentioned earlier an electronic tripmeter would've been nicer.
Thanks!

The interiors are ditto copy from the previous generation Palio's.

As I am a heavy footed guy, I m getting only 13.XX in city and 17.xx on highway. I will do a proper mileage check on Sunday, wen I leave to Chennai.

PS: It reaches 140kmph effortlessly.

Okies Pal Thanks for the information,
Can You please give me the details/address of the shop and their contact no? Would be going for the upgrade soon.

Are both jobs done from the same shop 185/65 Michelin XM1 tubeless- 3460 & 14" LENSO's ?
Is It the Lenso PL1 model which you have added?

P.S. I checked Lenso's web site again & again but couldn't find anything in 14".
More light needed on this ?

BTW the shop is Sai Iyangar Tyres @ Indiranagar for both the tyre and the alloys.

You can reach ashwin (the shop owner) @ 9880116405 in case you dont find the place, its near ESI hospital on indiranagar Double road.

Quote my name "Nithin or Tom" he will be able to help you get the stuff you need.

Thanks Nithin.

Jaaz, these are not present in the website; not even a single 14".

It is the PL1 model.

BTW, i tried to break ur speed record on my way to Chennai last weekend. I could reach 160 dozens of times.. but not 170. (And that pursuit took me to Chennai in just over 3 hrs.)

Hmm, Looks like some one wants to break my speed record.
We too reached Chennai in just 3 hrs,It was a fun ride too good roads but after 160 things dont go that smooth, feels scary.

So Its Time for you to give some inputs:

1.How is the car doing after the upgrade?
2.Can we have a mileage update?
3.How was the car @ 160 km?
4.What is the difference you feel in the car after the upgrade?

In my case steering had become very light @ that speed.

.. take it easy man.

I also would like to know how the alloys are working at high speeds? Any vibrations, since you have used 100pcd ones?

After 120 it vibrates.. like a diesel enfield.
but after 140 it is smooth again. Planning to put the hub-centric rings.

The mileage is less. arnd 15.

My Palio's radiator fan (that s how i call it) switches on as soon as i start the car and switch on the AC (and the fan noice is loud n annoying - my brother calls it JUMBO JET).

Is this common in all MJD's? Is it supposed to switch on only after few KMs (once the engine is heated up)?

PS: On my way back I saw 4-5 covered cars testing on the highway. I think it was FIAT GP.
