service booklet says that for sure-but thats there because of economics(cost cutting?)-not changing the oil filter after an engine oil change is like 'putting on the old clothes after a refreshing bath!'

I paid extra for the filter and got that changed during first service.

oh..

i had first asked hi to change the oil filter, but then he(service advisor) removed the job from list,i checked the service booklet and it mentioned that only oil needs to be changed,so thought that he must be correct.
should i get it changed now?

Guess you can leave it for now-there wont be any harm done. Next time make it a point to change. It is more of a personal satisfaction thing rather than anything technical to get the filter changed.

guys
i observed something on the service bill.the date of sale of my car is given as 31/july/2008,whereas the actual delivery was on 07/08/08.i want to know what can be the reason for this.the dealer had issued me an invoice of 07/08/08 and i didnt bother to check it afterwards.

also has anybody got the interest cheque from maruti on the booking amount?

Don't worry about it... it seems to be a common practice to create a sales invoice on the previous month (monthly targets?). I took delivery on Apr 6 and my invoice is dated Mar 30 (Vivek Auto). In fact it worked out in my favour because the prices were increased from April!!

well i dont think there is any shortage for dzire.i have a dealer very close to my house, and almost everyday i see 2-3 different coloured dzires being ready for the delivery.the same is the case is with my dealer,i have usually seen that there are atleast 2 dzires paked outside the showroon,(different colours on diffrent days).
if any body is facing a problem in delhi with respect to the delivery i am willing to help them out.

the car has covered 1600kms,i am getting 15.5 KMPL.This is with 100%ac and 100%city conditions.the car didnt covered much kms in last few weeks.
the only problem is that rattleshave started.the first one ,near the left side mirror, otherwise there is no problem.

my first service was done from APRA.Since I didnt have a good experience with AAA`s SERVICE.I had written to maruti after that, and all that the GM(service)did was, apologise.actually the service advisor was not ready to accept that the car`s has become hard(brakes jam). I parked the car at a slope, but the car didnt move,it was then that he realised that there is a problem with the brakes.
But you wanted to get your car serviced at GURGAON?so why AAA?

OT:Any update on your car?still havent seen any thread .

Yeah. Will post a thread once there's significant mileage worth mentioning. And you've summed up the AAA experience quite well!

That said, isnt that very low mileage you've put on the car? 1600 in 3 months isnt much.

well we have holidays going on,from last 25 days or so,the car is not covering much.1 -2 highway trips next month will compensate for that.(the car is still 2 1/2 months old)
plus Baleno IS on CNG so the mileage gets divided.

since you have got your car, arent you not getting calls from AAA everyday.Atleast I used to get it,in one particular week ,they called me more than my dad/other family members. and every time they used to tell ,"sir you car is due for service".
