Good decision and good car Lohith. Just be careful about who services the car, not many adventures around.
My friend had an adventure before he had bought a Pajero.
Nice to drive it.
Congrats.

@lohitrao: Am using 205/70/14. no problems at the rear. had to adjust the front tyre well skirts as slight brushing was happening on full lock. Congratulations on the buy.

Update on the car:

Have asked for the hl conversion to 90/100, am keen on OSram bulbs but not sure about the price, so have asked for the pricing..

Am still deciding on tires and the sizes, i think 195/70/14 would be the best...

Keep writing...

Lohith, Congrats on the Adventure !! Post some pics soon.

What tyre did you decide? My personal opinion will be obviously Michelins. Also saw Michelin Energy giving great comfort/confidence to Tadu's car @200kmph during our Yelagiri drive.

Hey Lohith how long do you want us to wait mate. The tyres will come along and I guessed as much that you are waiting for better tyres before you put up a few pics. Aint it ?

Lohith regarding the tyres what are you looking for, tyres capable of taking a beating or performance oriented ?

Abhi & Riju, Thanks guys

Riju, hehe am keen to take her pics too but she is getting dressed up getting serviced etc i will be getting the car mostly tomorrow. will post up the pics asap...

On the tires, am definitely looking for a tough tire which has a good side wall, even performance is expected but should be tough...

Today dropped at a goodyear showroom...and was told about Goodyear assurance" "http://www.goodyearassurance.com/html/goodyear_triple/tt_overview_2.html

Now i have in the list:

Bridge...Turanza, Michelin XM1 and Goodyear assurance
help me select guys, i will be going for 195/70/14

I'd advise you to stick to the original tyres PIRELLI 175/80/14. Look tough, provide great grip as well as ride quality. 195/70 reduces Adventure's ground clearance a bit and the car looks less SUVish with them. Also try locating 195/75/14. It's available in HANKOOK and has all terrain tread pattern.

Hey Lohith, I have recently moved over to a set of Yokohama 195/70 R14 for my Adventure and they seem to be doing quite well. The 175/80 Pirellis are ideal for the car but almost impossible to get! I searched high and low but just couldn't get my hands on 4 of them..

The Yokohamas seem to offer decent grip (except on high speeds on loose gravel, but that is in comparison to the truly wonderful Pirellis), the ride comfort is almost as good as the Pirellis and the sidewall seems to be adequate. Hope this helps and doesn't end up confusing you more!

Manoj, Thanks for the info...

Am keen on Turanzas as have seen them perform but the profile is 60 for 195 so not too happy, Goodyear Assurance on the other hand seems to be a tough tyre costing about 4200 but not sure if its good??

Anyone has some info on the same? if so please share
