buddy you may need to re-check on the prices of the accessories quoted.

3M sun film may be only 3-3.5 k.

Amazing car and some amazing pics of it!! Have a great time with your new car.

I'll keep an eye out while driving around to catch a glimpse. There are three things I would like to tell you.

1. You have such an amazing car and you have two "Dhristi kayaru" (I dont know what to call it in english . Eveil-eye thread maybe??) hanging from the front. If you are superstitious keep it, else remove them.

2. Remove the showroom sticker from your rear bumper. These guys stick it like maniacs on cars on every visit to the showroom/service, and the first thing i'll do after coming back is to remove them.

3. My personal opinion is that a car does not look complete without the side door mouldings(the strips that run across all doors), it gives a bland look. Ask the showroom guys if they can give you body-coloured side door moulding. I think it costs around 4K. Maybe you can take it as one accessory from them.

I am in love with those alloys... will have to see if I can fit it on my 14" 1.6zxi. But my worry is that ford charges a bomb for their accesories!

Thanks praveen, I've been taking quite a few inputs from your threads & posts and yeah my parents are a bit superstitious so thats for making them happy, Hope it falls off after sometime . I removed those stickers once but when the car was with them for the accessories, they again put one again

For that door mouldings when i enquired they said they do not have one in this specific colour, and more over i was thinking it might not match the car. I will give it a try once they are available.

I had a similar problem. When my car went for first service, I removed them on my way back home. I told parents that service center guys did it.

I am not really sure if door black door strips would look good or not. You can get them painted.

You will never get them in matching colors - even as OE - it has to be matched and painted and that is what you have to do.

You can get it painted according to your body colour. I put them as an accessory and the ford guys take a black moulding and paint it to match the body colour and the paint matches the body perfectly. Ofcourse they charge an extra 1K for body colour painting.

Hey Sathee,
Now that you have driven this beauty of more than 2 months, how about sharing a quick review...?
how has been the experience so far?
is the suspension problem solved now? Do you think this is typical to S variant?
Whats ur opinion regarding back seat comfort vs SXi?

I have been trying to choose between Sxi & S. somehow the fabric seats put me off... but then i realise that even if i take Sxi, i would most probably use a seat cover... so might as well put the seat cover in S

My experience with the car has not changed from Day 1, It's great. I've got used to the suspension. After a few drives over the highways I'm very happy with the handling of the car. The rear seat of Fiesta in general has less room and mine is no exception. Very soon i will give a detailed report, I've just done close to 1500 Km's on the Odo

And for the seats check out the vinyl/leather seats on my ride and decide for yourself.

@sathee46: Now that you've enjoyed the stock looks of the car for more than 2 months, its time to give it a STREET LOOK.

The easiest way is to start from painting the wheels(im sure that any decent paintshop can do the below mentioed works)):
Oh Yeah! Got my Fiesta 1.6S-blk-spok.jpg

IMHO, this suits your car the best (subaru impreza style):
Oh Yeah! Got my Fiesta 1.6S-gold-spok.jpg

Oh Yeah! Got my Fiesta 1.6S-wh-spok.jpg

Oh Yeah! Got my Fiesta 1.6S-blk-thin-spok.jpg

Oh Yeah! Got my Fiesta 1.6S-blk-thick-spok.jpg
