Hyundai should have seriously considered rear discs for this car even though for an extra cost. Then an ABS kit would have helped a lot to avoid locking.

I touched 140kmph while returning from Bangalore dude. 140kmph isnt a big thing considering that i drove 130's in M800 and 110 in Omni's .

Guys
Bhaskar is not running on stock wheels. Please don't hijack his thread.

Undead. There's no point in debating over top speeds achieved by u in the past. I'm sure none of the cars u have mentioned could do 0-160kmph in 34 secs like the Getz does..

So, IMHO running Getz D on stock tires especially those crappy GPS2s isn't very safe. Be it tubeless or with 6j alloys.

Regards

My dad will allow me to change only after these Stock tires are worn out.I have convinced him to change once the treadwear indicator shows up. Else he will change only after the treads are worn out completely and becomes bald.

Thanks djay. We both are kind-of itching to floor the pedal but then we are patiently waiting for the break-in period to be over. IMO, not flooring this one, at least selectively, on Noida-GNoida expressway, would be a serious crime against the beast.

Well, I can't compare the rise with XMI's with that of the stock as never rode more than 30 kms on the stocks. Handling & braking is good, although have not driven yet on speed more than 80 kmph @ 2000 rpm or less. In terms of road noise, I am not too sure if I can really say that it has reduced as my baseline for comparison is my Scorpio which also rides on Michelin XM1. I guess its even-stevens for the time being.

oops ! my mistake. I mixed up my earlier Wagon R & Scorpio tyres - both had/has Michelin.
So correct statement - My Scorpio has LTX/AT's & Wagon R had XM1's.

Prices of Pio 5090UB

Are you sure that the price of Pio 5090UB was 7K?
Way down in bangalore, most of the pioneer dealers quote the MRP as Rs 9990/= with a 12% discount. This works out to Rs 8800/=.

I am planning to buy Pio 5090UB HU for my Swift. Would like to confirm on the price. Thanks.

Well I am sure 'cuz I paid for it . This one comes with a warranty for a year. The gray market one costs around 500 - 600 less & looks a li'l different. Got it from Car Raunaq, Noida.
