guys finally i got my male machine....my own SX4 ZXi

I took me around two months to decide which car to go with ( taking into consideration my family choice also)...when i planned to buy new car first choice came into my mind is Swift Diesel (i wanted this car to be my first car )... but a sudden change in plan due to my family love for a "Big car"

Lots of option available in market:

1. Hyundai verna --- Diesel one i can't afford and petrol is not upto the mark...but main thing is i don't want a korean vehicle

2. Ford Fiesta - Every one know how bad their *** is ... so straight away rejected

3. Swift Dzire --- I can't wait for 8 months to get this one so have to reject this

4. Mahindra Logan ---simply don't like the exterior

5. Honda City --- This is a good car, having a corporate look, luxury inside and good fuel efficiency also, but a little concern about price tag

6. Maruti SX4 --- Defiantly Male, i love its muscular look, luxury is ok from inside (ignoring the rear seat), safety wise and price wise no one can beat this beat

So out of this 6 option i have to decide between City and SX4.... Here i would like to thank all Team-bhpians with their great reviews/ comparison between the two vehicle which help me out deciding between the two

my experience with the new SX4 is really amazing...u can't beat this male machine..Honda city is no where near its power.

Pros (although mention many times on this forum):

1. I love the pickup and power of this car... u can't get better at this price tag

2. Front compartment is awesome in terms of space, luxury and comfort

3. Stereo mounted control...i think this will really a great help for drivers like me who love to drive fast with changing music every time

4. Rear view mirrors...really a great help..their control is also really good

5. I think Maruti has upgraded the A/C of SX4 because no one sitting at rear seat complaint... love the automatic climate control

6. ABS and airbag --- i know we have to pay little more for these features but one can realize the advantage of these feature when they help avoid major accidents

7. Temperature display --- cool feature...helps make up ur mind about the heat outside when u want to step out of the car

8. Ipod slot in the stereo is also one of the good points

Cons :

1. Rear seat -- i found litlle uncomfortable but some one told me Maruti changing the rear seat design from October (source very very reliable) so i am planning to replace my rear seat with the new one, also there is a change is head restraint design

2. Rear visiblity is a little concern...my view point is Maruti should provide rear parking sensore as standard fitment

Colour of my vehicle is Silver.

regarding GM...my big brother doesn't like GM cars according to him all american cars have cheap interiors and fuel economy wise also they are not good ( very funny reason but i have to follow that) + their service network also not good

I managed to get Rs43000 discount on my SX4 ZXi vehicle + accessories worth Rs4000

I think this is the best deal offered by any dealer

Congrats buddy, you have got yourself a very good deal.

Regarding the rear visibility, get the parking sensors installed and there will be no problem at all.

Rs 43k, is one hell of a discount. Couple of days i enquired the dealer was offering on Rs 10 k so the OTR was quoted as Rs 7.10 after 10 k discount. Bro you got a superb deal. Any internal contacts or just your bargaining magical powers????

So what is the OTR price of your car like? And what all accessories you got?
