@dockap, @Nipun, Congrats on your new rides.

Looks like the Vista owners on the forum are growing by every passing day.

@Nipun, waiting for the pics.

vista should rock in black! i almost booked black and changed it to red at the last minute because i wanted a change (my previous V2 was black).

btw, my Vista just crossed 1000 kms today and I might give it for first service the coming weekend. after that I plan to open a new thread in the "Long Term Ownership" section to keep track of her progress.

before I go there I will post some pix i had promised few posts back - that of the engine bay and boot space with 60% and 100% seats folded.

latest update:

the FE seems to be improving with every fill. this week, the fuel level indicator seems to be moving slower than before. I will calculate the current FE when I refill her after immediately the first service.

until now, the ride seems to improve by the day and i find myself relaxed even in slow moving peak hour traffic. most of my home-office-home commute is being done in 3rd (and occassionally 2nd) gear with 100% AC. i pass thru congested stretches with minimum work for the left foot and a very light right one (for those who know hyderabad, i travel from secbad cantonment to jubilee hills via begumpet in the morning and via Rd#10-khairatabad-necklace road in the evening).

sent her for first service today and just brought her back.

i only paid 36/- for a dinitrol anti-rust spray on doors.

The issue with the horn (not working when steering is fully turned) and the front suspension noise have been fixed. the engine seems more silent and smoother now - almost felt like a petrol car in 1st gear itself. Brake bleeding was done and now i find the brakes much better and confidence inspiring.

i would go to the RTA office for registration next week and then add the sun films.

will fill her tank up today and kick off the mega FE test

now that the car has finally lost her "virginity" so as to speak , further updates will be in a new thread in the "Long Term Ownership" forum.

i'll also be updating the other FE Test thread.
