Yep it's Great !!!

But I want more power now !!! I drove the abarth on the Silverstone track and my 500 feels like nothing :( But they have no plans to sell it in India because it will cost 20-25 lakhs !!!!

Also they wont be selling a petrol version because it is easier for them to sell the 1.3 diesel engine due to servicing as it uses the same engine as the Punto, so it will be easier for them to service it.

Also their main reason for selling the 500 in India is for brand development so dont expect any more engine choices as diesel is the best for them.

I am thinking of getting the Evo X when it comes sometime this year

Here is a pic of me driving thr abarth at Silverstone. I drove for 5 hours and it was an awesome experience.

Its been a long time since you have posted anything about your 500. How is your experience so far? Would like to see more detailed interior pictures... Write everything about the 500...

I saw one in flesh and blood for the first time today... Thats when I searched and saw your thread...

Can anybody let me know what is that thing beneath the climate control knobs that looks like a speaker? It is just to the left of the defogger button. It looks like a speaker to me. Can anybody throw some light please?

^^
I think that would be the BT microphone. Too small to be a speaker and the placement too seems odd - cant be a tweeter (you would need 2)

Going by the hexagonal shape and the placement, I am guessing that it would be the sensor for measuring the cabin temperature - which would probably be used for the AC cut-off.

But I am really sure that it cannot be a speaker or tweeter - with that tiny size and the position. Also, bluetooth receivers are usually placed in the headliner - closer to the sun visor.

Looks like the sensors for the climate control are housed behind it.

Also, did you just watch this video? Dough has also highlighted the exact same thing in this video.
