ANHC Sapphire Blue Discontinued?

I just visited the Indian Honda City web page, and on the colours page, the Deep Sapphire Blue no longer features. And if you look closely, you can see a very bad graphic overlaying job done to cover up the spot where it displayed the color, and hints of it can be seen through the overlaying.

Has this colour been discontinued by honda?

Deep Sapphire Blue, as far as I remember dealer quoting me as a limited colour option for certain period of time.

I remember there was a new thread created by Sidindica when Blue Saphire City was spotted by him.

Now this thread is to say that this City color is no more.

Maybe because of poor demand for this colour, they might have stopped.

Damn, this was a great color ! Was a bold move by Honda to introduce this color to break away from the usual. But poor demand shows that Indians are very traditional in their color choices. Nonetheless I feel car makers should not completely discontinue a color due to poor demand, at least a special order basis should be maintained.

That was really a nice color, shouldn't be a limited edition one. I guess, they are still offering the Jazz with that color.

That color was a limited edition color only. Only a few cars had that color - it has been discontinued now. As for the poor response is concerned - I can vouch that AHNC's in that color sold like hot cakes.

Brochure of 2009 Honda City wanted

Does anyone have a PDF or scanned copy of the Honda City brochure for 2009 model? I would like to read about the features and differences between the variants, in that model year.

Hi mate, I guess you are talking about the Ivtec Honda City. I purchased one in 2011. The technical specifications and features are listed in the scanned copy of the brochure that I got at the time of purchase. Hope it is of some help.

Re: Brochure of 2009 Honda City wanted

The major differences between E and S was beige interiors, ice, steering mounted controls, keyless entry, seat height adjust, coloured door handles. How much was the price difference between E and S at the time?
The difference between S and V was about 45k ex showroom for alloys, fogs, 2 tweeters and better seat upholstery if I remember.
All variants came with ABS and dual airbags as standard.
