Congrats on buying a great car. How much money did you put down as a deposit?

This may sound stupid but what does Honda mean by keyless answer back with key? Is this the same as the standard remote locking system say Piranha?

thanks!'
I think what Honda means is that their car is so advanced and loaded with high technology that when you press the remote lock/unlock on the key, the car answers back by blinking it's turn signal lamps. Thecar will 'answer back' by blinking twice when you unlock the car and it will 'answer back' by blinking once when you lock the car!

The minimum was 1L so that's what I put down. Not sure when I have to pay the rest. I have decided to take the E, so it won't be too soon.

Some magazines are saying that G3HC has CD player in the intergrated system while some mention its not there.

Only a visit to the showroom when the display car is around will clear things.

From vivekji05's excellent TD report:

Quote:
Honda has ditched the ubiquitous CD/MP3 player that every other car comes with and instead provided a USB interface for connecting pen drives or the ipod or any other MP3 player. While this can be seen as a move to the future, one must also take the trouble of ripping those Audio CDs and copying them into a pendrive. Thankfully, the music source whether it’s a USB drive or Ipod is hidden behind the LCD screen. The playback controls for the music system are split into easily usable buttons and a knob. The interface looks like out of an MP3 player.
Things cleared!

I saw the car today in flesh, there is no CD player and even the CD storage area and USB slot were hard to find, before the salesman flip open one panel of the HU to reveal a small opening in which the USB slot was hanging !

For many people the absence of Cd player might be a deterrent to buy the S.

Beg to differ. One does not buy or not buy a car, because of the CD player. I bought my Skoda without a CD player. It had a Kenwood tape & FM player.

One buys a car for the car that it is & nto what music system it gets

That is my POV

Cheers

Completely agree with you. I too dont care about the cd player. I just said for some people it will matter and it does. All upon what you want and not.

I'm not buying the City.

Dad made a fool out of all of us. He never paid the 1L down payment amount. We filled the form, but the money was never paid. And now he's changed his mind.

Close this thread.

Oh shucks.

Don't worry, probably he will agree once he sees the car on the road and hears positive reviews.

Dads are always like this I suppose. Never make up their minds on expenditures soon.

That is a wise decision. SX4 is much more VFM compared to the City. Check out the City vs SX4 thread – everyone settled for the SX4 – so you also join the tribe!
