Had the similar experience.. and the similar outcome - 'Go looking for good car and land in a wacko catch the Type11 OHC 1.5 I got a 2000 model baby too, and the rest is history (in the making) awesome price and some cool mods in the pipeline. Enjoy your OHC and welcome to the club! some say the OHC is overrated- who cares we are ones who own it!

Hey Max, you bet its a great car with some attitude!
I've put a few pics up you can check them out later.
Rock on. And make sure you write in to let us all know how the car is doing and what you've been up to. Also post a few pics after the mods are done.
Cheers mate

Update 90000 K

Just go my car serviced from an unauthorised dealer with strict supervision .
Pre - Service Complaints
1.Steering was wobbling under braking
2.Brake pressure is very very less
3.Engine sounding a bit rough
4.Air filter was torn

Service experience was pretty decent . I got what I had expected . Nothing to make me feel neither ' wow ' neither 'oops ! ' . The price I had payed for changing the parts was quite minimal .

Engine Oil ----> Shell ----> 3.5 lts ------->550
Air Filter--------------------------------->170
Oil Filter--------------------------------->210
Brake pads--------- KBX (Kalyani)-------->660
Servicing cost--------------------------->350
Brake Oil & Coolant ---------------------->250

Experience So Far with the car :
Owning this car has been a very pleasant experience . I have never experience any sort of breakdown or a bad driving experience . The car is quite fast and I have touched 190+ . The car gets light past 150Kmph. The steering is fantastic so is the low seated driver position. Inshort this car gave me everything I wanted from her . The best part is fuel efficiency. I haven't seen anyother car in its price range giving 16+ when driven with a light foot. Great car to own and I will recommend this to anyone who is wanting a trouble free city zipper .
