Need Some help on ICE.
I listen to mostly House,Progressive House,Electronic and Trance. So good Bass is must.
My budgate is around 35K as of now but can increase to 40K Max.
HU is not required as I am installing carputer.

Need some help guys. Is 100W power supply is enough for this setup.
Setup will be .
Intel Atom D945GCLF
2 GB DDR2 RAM
160 GB 2.5" HDD.
USB Bluetooth
1 USB GPS
1 USB EV-DO Card.
1 USB WIFI Card.
I might use external USB sound card as well.

On +5V . Max Load is 6A.

Enclosure.

Touch Screen is damn responsive. Tried Finger Swiping in CentraFuse for reverse and forward the tracks. and it works very Good.

Now Deciding my ICE Parts.

nice car and a nice carputer nisarg. Keep us updated about what applications are being planned in carputer ? Are u going for GPS?

Even I am contemplating a Swift VDi as my 3rd car. Can anyone enlighten me whether the Rear de-fogger can be retro fitted on to the car?? I am amazed that VDi doesn't come with this even though it costs 6 lakhs :Shockked: which is not cheap!!

A carputer is simply a car pc.
In this case, the carputer is externally installed. In higher cars like BMW, Audi, a carputer is built-in eg. The BMW comes with i-drive.

The carputer is used for everything- from entertainment stuff like playing music & videos to GPS navigation, parking assistance and most importantly car component management & diagnosis.

NIce setup I have few questions for you

(1) Does D945GCLF has address range for 2GB RAM ?
(2) What is your boot and shutdwn time and How much time your CAR PC takes to hibernate and come out of hibernation with 2GB RAM ?
(3) Are you running dual display VGA for navigation + Movie on this board ?
