Hello All
I am joining the Ford Ikon TDCi club this week [ before the 2 % price hike ] . I am trying to get the most practical upgrades for the car . I have narrowed it down to
1. Tube less tires with alloys - Alloys make is lighter - more mileage and better handling - tubeless for obvious reasons .
2. Philips 55W crystal vision headlamp - found a post in carwale where some one has upgraded to this and had good opinion about it .
3. Horn

Would highly appreciate recommendation on all these three fronts .

On the tire upgrade the dealer -Lathangi said you cannot keep 185 since increasing width will void the warranty . how ever he said I can go with 14 " alloys since it was offered in Ikon earlier .

You can get the highway horn kit from Ford (Part #1224152) and later replace the horns with ones of you choice. The ready to fix kit comes with a pair of Roots horns, relay, clamps, 2-way switch, fuse, necessary wiring ect. If done outside, or wires cut, they maintain that the warranty would be rendered void.
