Just to go a bit off topic.. Xtra premium fuel helps in making it a smooth drive or will it help in increasing the mileage of the City too?

Congrats Ravi, You have a good car. Dive safe and enjoy the attention it's gonna be there for a while (cause delivery is slow) too few 3GHC's on the roads as of now.
And your mileage is pretty decent, must do a long trip to get an average between City and Highway.
All the Best. Honda's are Great cars.

Im sure that fig will improve a bit once the engine is run-in.

Sahil just reported his iDSI mileage to be 9 kmpl in city A/C. So the new City AT isnt behind.

cheers: That calls for a celebration.

I agree with other brothers regarding the FE. It will definately improve after the 1st and 2nd service and as soon as the engine has run-in. The new age engines, if I am not mistaken, have a run-in of just a few thousand kms approx 3000 to 4000, isnt it?

Sounds you are already in love with the car. Its a nice, sleek, beauty that glides graciously on road. I was also among one of the head turners when I spotted it first on the road.

Do post the pics - both [interior and exterior] and it would be great if you could get a video.

Keep us posted more about your experience and the car as you spend some more time and kms with it.

Thats too less. My friend in Hubli consistantly gets 13-14kmpl (with A/C) in city.

Infact i once did an ultra FE run in my OHC VTEC and it returned 14.5kmpl (without A/C though). So with A/C i should still be able to achieve around 11-12kmpl.

To find out the actual FE, i gues both cars will have to be tested at the same time under the same driving conditions. But like i said, 10 is still a satisfactory figure.

i-Dsi 9 ?

The particular car must be defective. 12 -14 is the normal range for i-dsi in city with AC.

these guys are talking about automatics, so mileage of 10 is decent and anything abouve it (12) can be considered as bonus.

does anyone's City Automatic enjoy a FE of 12+ regularly in city conditions - bumper to bumper, 20-30kmph etc, AC etc?

Congrats Ravi! Waiting for the pics.

CtrlAltDel: Agree with you. A mileage of 10 kmpl in Hyderabad city traffic, with A/C all the time, for an Automatic transmission is very very good. Remember the car has not yet been run-in.

Hey congratulations. Some fotos would be nice. Did you mention the colour??

FE of 10 kmpl for an Auto tranny in city conditions is good. The vtec is a gem and with paddle shifts she will be a pleasure to drive. Have fun.

Snaps please. Seen 2-3 reports of ANHC owners here in TBHP. But not a single snap from anybody. Are they all still sitting in the car?

Congrats buddy!! Wish you a long, happy and safe relationship wit your new car!
Please put up snaps! I was never a big fan of the previous gen city. It really was a torrid looking thing. I was like the first time i saw it.
But the new ones a real looker going by the pics that have been available on the net and also an extensive test drive and snaps in one of the team-bhp forums. Would like to see your interiors and some nice exterior snaps as well!
