Nice comment joslicx . I think Maruti has started a trend of making people wait for all their cars. That too for 6-8 months. They dont have the ABS , Airbag kits in sufficient quantities and still start rolling out new models with the same safety kit. This will make make people wait longer for their DZire , Swift and A-Star

Damn! You beat me to this question! I can just see it now - HKS turboed, 100 bhp, RD enabled 1-liter engined A-star whose tyres will be bald within the first 2 months.

Congrats memo.
Seems like Maruti is taking us back to the good ol' days of waiting for years for a vehicle.

I completely agree with you. There is absolutely no gurantee that the A* like its other sibblings will not start rattling within a year's time.
The sales ppl @Maruti Showrooms are acting like the older days when it used to be a seller's market.

Congrats macha!!!

Guys lets not turn his thread into a battle about MSIL and their production capability, delivery period etc...Start an A-Star rant in the appropriate section.

Thanks guys. for TD's you will have to ask my mom, sorry.

The car is a fun car to drive in the city - have been driving it around as my sx4 has gone in for service. The thing that really caught my mind is the fit and finish of the car it really puts both the swift and the sx4 to shame, atleast with this car maruti's standards have gone up.

Sorry guys my laptop is not cooperating at all to upload the pics will have it up this evening.

Your initial reviews are so much different than our sidindica's. I am sure yours is genuine.

I think one reason can be that suzuki is going to export it to be rebadged as a nissan. Or someone from Suzuki india has read this in T-bhp and decided to make amends
