I also managed a minimal few thousand's discount on the ex-showroom. I cant explain but reson is we have done the final assembly and paintshop line for the new indica plant and also have some of our other machines installed in K block. Which means i got real good contacts in the Bombay house.

Congrats on the new car buddy. Looks smashing in RED! I used to drive a Blue Turbo a few months ago. It was a pleasure to drive and fun to fill (savings galore!!!).

if you are changing stock tyres i would recommend michellin pp2 bit expensive if not bf goodrich 195/60/14 cost me 3800 per tyre. tyre dealer gave me 1300 per tyre for my stock goodyear which had run 2500kms it came to 2500 per tyre

Again thanks one and all for all your wishes.

here are my new observations @ 450 kms

1. a queaking noise coming out from one of the joints of left front seat. esp when a 70+ kg person sits there. no noise when my wife or my sis sits there.
2. left front window recoiler motor giving problem esp. during putting windows pane up.
3. A thud from the boot whenever i brake suddenly. i heard someone else complaining about it.
4. the lock of 0.60X part of the seat is not functioning well.0.4X is fine.
5. and finally the real thing FE @ 15.89 kmpl-tankful to tank full at the same petrol pump (Shell Kharadi)-totally driven in city- 90+ % of the time with a/c. out of 450 kms the a/c was not used for a lil less than 30 kms.
