Got a used Getz..

Hi folks,
finally after many many months, brought a Used Getz GLS-Red- Spet 2006 Model. Milage - 14500 KMS , Single owner. car in very good condition, got it checked by Mahindra First Choice, Basvangudi-Bangalore.

Yet to get the Papers transferred.

I have run about 300 KMS till now, in last about 3 weeks..back of paper indicate Average of 10+..
Please not, this is my first car, and am still long long way to go before, I can claim, i am good at driving...

I have paid 3.2 Lakhs.

Wanted to know if its a good deal..Will update Pics later...

Congrats buddy, Enjoy your ride.

I came across a Getz GLS-White-2005/40000 kms for 2.80 in Delhi.

So yours seems to be a good deal.

I think it is a good price considering the low mileage. I was also looking to buy a car last month and was open to buy both new and used. I was hunting for the Getz. I called up a few used car dealers in Bangalore and even advaith and trident as they have used car division. They were all quoting 3.2 lacs for '05/'06 model but they were all around 25K to 30K done on the odo.

Finally I thought If I spent another lac or so I can get a new vehicle and a diesel so bought the Vista TDi at 4.6 Lacs.

For a first time buyer the used petrol Getz makes lot of sense. Congrats on your buy !

14500 km is nothing, the car is like new, assuming it's been well treated. Give it a detailed cleaning, maybe a 3M interior and engine cleaning, and enjoy!

I got it delivered after a regular service done by the previous owner.
Will check on the suggestions,
Was wondering about the Average, as I had told before, roughly I am getting 10/11 in Bangalore city. I am still a New driver,..
Just wanted to check ,what was the Average other owners are getting.

Think its a decent price. I bought a used Getz in November (sept 2006 GLS), 22,000km done for 3.1. The car is a dream to drive - the gearshift is great.

Mileage has never been the Getz strong point. I get about 10kmpl in the city (terrible Hyderabad traffic) with AC on. Before buying the car - did a fair bit of research & found most owners reporting a mileage of 9-11kmpl in the city.
