Got my ANHC-S AT

Today I took the delivery of my silver automatic ANHC.
Will put down my intitial impressions so far along with pics (probably on the weekend)
Here are few observations during my 30+ km drive to office:
  1. Feel of the cabin had been one of my aprehension about ANHC. Reports suggested soewhat cheap materials used and my own observation was that the biege used was close to gray and looked very dull. After spending some time now, I feel it is not all that bad and is quite likable. Fit and finish is top notch and ttention to deatils are good. Colour is bit dull and finish should have been little more glossier. There is no pretention to give a luxury feel (no fake wood) and most of the details are thoughtfully done.
  2. I had a NHC and did not like the feel of the steering. I can give a detailed account of what exactly I did not like in that. I had the same apprehension about the steering feel of the ANHC. Reports said it is much improved but still 'light' etc. I could not find aything wrong during the test drive. But now I know that I am not going to like it! EPS is a huge letdown.
  3. I need to get used to the automatic. I have liked lot of aspects of AT so far but I miss the 1 to 1 relationship the revs have with resulting speed in a given gear. The entire mapping from the mind has to get adjusted to the 'blackbox' approach of the auto.

Congrats on the gearbox
Indeed the ANHC is a good buy especially with the Auto Transmission.
You will fall in love with the flappy paddle gearbox.

Waiting for pics and a detailed review.

Thanks guys. Yes, I will be posting detailed review and pics

@TRANSAM
I did not mention that this was bought under company's car scheme which has eligibility limit etc. Civic would go beyond the allowed budget and they dont allow part payment by the employee (to make up for the excess amount). Otherwise, yes I would have considered Civic E variant.

Congrats Guna. Thats a great choice. Very few Blr based AT owners on the forum. Eagerly awaiting your initial ownership and also the dealership experience report. Let us know if you got any accessories. Enjoy your 'F1' Honda and drive safe.

Congrats on the car. Silver is one of my favorite colors in the ANHC. Do post a review of the AT. I havent seen a detailed one yet. You definitely will fall in love with the paddles once you get used to them. And it should take some time to get used to the car too, I'm sure youll like it even more after the first service
Any plans of modifications? Tints, wheels etc.

Congrats.

Do post the detailed ownership experience & Fe of course.

Well in one of the post, people are feeling the gear change; are you also feeling the same in your AT?
