It's not easy. Dropped the idea of going in for the 2.0 petrol. Apparently even the salesman said mileage was an issue. If i need power i might decide to Put in a box. Is peter listening?

TSi is Petrol. Turbo Stratified Fuel Injection i believe. The 1.8L version of the same will do duty on the Skoda superb and is supposed to give 10+ kmpl in city and still propels the car to 100 in less time than the old V6 did according to ACI.

Will be going to the Dealer soon, need to see if i can get 'A 4' on the registration number. That should be super cool, just wondering how much that will cost!

Be ready to shell out close to a lakh. Another tip, make sure you RTO charges are 7% of the car value, these dealers keep extra money to pay the RTO agents etc but that "extra" is alot more than actual. Usually agents charge 3000rs and it's better to deal with them directly regarding the number allocation. I have appointed one RTO agent that does my regns to save the hassel and involvment of dealerships and their "extra" charges.

Hey Sahil , thanks for the Info. Audi has started a new service, the Audi top assist which is free for the first two years. Allegedly Audi has tied up with 600 service centers all over India to cover 95% of Indian roadways to provide a 24 x 7 emergency service through out the country. In case of breakdown you can call the number that is provided to you and within the hour you will have assistance, which will not only mend/repair your car but if required leave you to a nearby hotel or even tow the Car to an authorized service centre. This scheme is available to even the older audis sold in india through various channels! Look good!

Excellent choice redeff! i had myself decided on the New A4 compared to the 3 series. The A4 is bigger in all dimensions and more plush inside and smarter looking outside than the 3. and it looks like a real classy car inside! proper luxury sport!

Great going mate! I was planning on the Red color with black interiors, just loved it in red! Congrats again!

Well i wanted the red! However considering the fact that my father's profile is that of a professional, not a businessman, we thought it better go with a more 'classy and quiet' colour than one that screams out to the whole world ' Sexy is here! " lol.

Can't seem to edit my earlier post, however i have a question. Is a pre-registration inspection required as per the checklist? Or should i trust the showroom on this?

Of course it is required! The safer the better, especially when you are shelling out 33 big ones.

Congrats on the car! We look forward to pics & an ownership report

The number A 4 will make the pandus salute you at all signals!
A4 in white is a very good color. Apart from you, we are also awaiting 27th March for the pictures and ownership experience from then on. Congrats on your choice.

Besides the A4 looks hawt and is just big enough for the city, Accent has more space than the BMW!

If you haven't purchased any car since last 12-14 years, then how do have swift and accent with you?
