USB Stick - format?

karthik,
Is the USB stick format FAT32 or NTFS?
My Home DVD player wouldn't recognize the USB stick when it was NTFS. It now works after I formatted using FAT32.

Worth a try I guess.

Siddhu CSM will be coming back with details after getting information from Fiat India.

I do not have either the Steering wheel noise or a screeching noise while applying brakes (sudden or sluggish) at any speeds. Please get these checked again, if possible take test drives in more Linea's at the dealership.

What exactly is this noise. Are you talking about noise of plastic scraping when you turn the steering. We had this on our fusion and Uno when new. It just went away on its own after some use.
It's a creaking noise from Steering Column like a wandered screw sound.

Not sure whether all ABS vehicles have this. Normally it should not give any such sound. Atlest not at slow speeds while reversing. Is it like something scraping metal. Just ask them to blow some air after removing the whels. It could just be some small stone stuck somewhere. It might get solved.

Yes i also told CSM about this.we already done air blow job and checked for any alien in the brake assembly.Everything is alright.
CSM will confirm after have a talk with his seniors.
I have tested another brand new car.that also has the same screeching noise.

The only other ABS equipped vehicle that I have experience is the Innova. Defintiely there is no sound as described.

Please note that Karthik has mentioned 'normal in ABS provided Fiar vehicles'

The test drive Linea did not have any noise while braking.

This is normal in ABS provided Fiat vehicles.
It could be a minor issue, but follow it up.

ya thanx,
I am having good rapport with both VST Service GM Ramesh and Tata CSM Siddha.
CSM invited me personaly to meet him in his office at kasi arcade on coming saturday.

Don't get worry drashkum,The car is really good.
Mine was having some problem and sorted out easily with VST service guys.
you can definitely enjoy the car moreover Petrol Linea is more silent than Diesel variant.
In my trip to pondi.i felt the car was more silent after 2000 rpm.
IMO,Once the run in period aka 3000kms is crossed, the engine will be running very smoothly.

A very good return

Yes,
Finally i gone for a Highway trip to pondicherry last saturday.
The trip was very fun because of Linea.
The car was running like a dream and very smooth and got a very good FE.
I got exactly 20.7 kmpl with 100% Ac and with onboard 5 adults.
Driving was a pleasure and handling was very good.
Turning the car in 120 kmph was very well planted and no over or under steer.
I touched 140 Kmph @ 2750 rpm sometimes.
I felt the car was more silent after 2000 rpm.no thunder sound as it's a diesel war head.
The car was really pulling well but some turbo lag was exists.
But overtaking nominal speed vehicle was not a big deal.
AC was very good though i maintained 3 points in blower and 23 degree in auto mode. That day was sunny and i tripped between 12 and 3 pm.
Everyone onboard had enjoyed the trip a lot and planned for a trip to Tirunelveli, my hometown next month totally 1200 kms.
Linea is trully luxury

Karthik, nice to know that your Linea has returned to a state of normalcy and vow those FE figures really rock. At the end of the day FIAT has finally delivered on service and promises.

Now the fiatlinea.in website carries a special link on the Top RHS which leads to some telphone nos (24 hr helpline) and service details. They are giving an impression that things have changed atleast they are making an effort and it shows.
