Let me know what you think.

Strange enough, no one else has noticed this.

Will take detailed pics of the car during the weekend after a nice wash of the car

First congrats on the great buy.

Are you talking about the gap on the bonet. I think there are some rubber bushes that hold the bonet a little higher. This is adjustable.

Congratulations Ntneo! The i20 is such a great looking hatch, I'd say the best of the breed. This forum knows my discontent with the 1.2 engine but well....if it suits your purpose and you are happy, that's what counts at the end of the day.

Drive safe and do keep updating this review as frequently as possible.

From the pictures, it doesn't seem to be a repair / patchwork job. Rather, a simple alignment issue or rubber bushing setting (as Gemi pointed out). Don't fret over this.

Can you post a pic of the full front view so we can see how awkward it actually looks.
I think the problem will have a simple solution!

Congratulations on the hot 'Uber Cool' puchase!
- regarding the bonnet - I believe GTO has a point - from your pics it appears to be only an alignment problem that could be resolved by the workshop.

Hi ntneo:
Congratulations on the buy. I20 is a good car. I don't no why there aren't many I20s around. Would love to see the pictures part by part, interior & exterior.

Form the picture you have posted, it doesn't seems to be a wide panel gap. I think the bonnet is slightly twisted to the drivers side. Could be due to some bush/springs as mentioned by others.

Adding some pics.
See the line increasing in the second pic.
The last pic of the back seat, you can observe there is no bump in the middle as with most cars.

Thanks gemi, you were right, when I opened the bonnet, could see a difference in the length of the bushes on the right side.
Its simple to rotate, I tried and there was still a gap. Since I am gng to the dealer during the weekend, I will let him fix it.
Phew!!! not such an issue as I thought it to be
Will post pics after the fix.

Yeah, I have read your thoughts on the underpowered engine.
It feels so when you are moving slow in 2nd gear with AC on. That's the only time I feel it lack power. But once it good motion, the power is adequate.

pardon me, it is entirely possible I didn't get the question (or the answer) right.

i'm guessing you are asking - what's that?

Looking at his pics earlier in #23, it looks like an a/c vent in the glove-box. slide to left to close the vent and slide to right to open the a/c vent for cooling the glove-box.
