Sorry for the late response. Thanks Ron and Star. Any mods planned for your ANHC's? I want to install the fog lamps. But thanks to the pricing from Honda im thinking twice. Also im facing regular issues with the dual sound from the horn.

A few queries if you will ..

Was this Honda Assure? Or did you get it done on your own?

Did you get cashless facility? Or did you have to pay the full amount and claim from Bharti Axa subsequently?

Would you mind sharing the annual premium?

I paid the full amount to Honda. Its been more than 3 weeks and Bharti Axa has still not reimbursed the amount. Must admit their service is PATHETIC.

I too had the dual tone horn issue and it seems to have been sorted out today at my 3rd free service. But I am not completely confident that it would hold on for long. Replacement should be on the way. Bad piece of component Honda managed cost cut in there. There were many such issues reported in TBHP

Got my 15,000 km service today :-

Engine Oil ( 100 Ml) : Rs.780
Wash fluid : Rs. 45
Washer Plug Drain : Rs. 18
Service Cost : Rs. 625
Wheel Balance : Rs. 661

costed Rs.2,195/-

Honda had offered me free wax coating for the car till 30th August. Yup you read it right Honda did offer something for free!! I wanted them to clean the interiors as it has become quite dirty. Overall super happy with the car. I recently got mileage of 18km/l+ on highways with a speed of 80km/hr-100km/hr. I badly miss the upsized tyres with alloys !!

me thinks its a typo. Which engine requires 100ml only. It should be 1000ml.

On second thoughts most cars need more than 1 litre engine oil

re: Honda City Alabaster Silver - S MT

Yes, there are 2 options available from HOnda for an oil change - mineral & synthetic. I always go for the synthetic as there is noticeable change in engine smoothness. Dont know about the mileage part though. There is obviously no ill effect as ive already covered 50 K kms. I change the oil every 5,000 kms.

Are you getting it serviced in Whitefield Honda ? If so beware, they are a bunch of crooks.
