Good photos!

And better comments!

And no, no questions about the fuel gauge!

Anytime Venky. Actually I think it was those French Fries sprinkled liberally with chili powder that did the trick.

@RL, congrats ! And well written, once you got started. Where's the rest ? Hope you are not waiting for Hrishi to up-shift from what he's already done to your thread !

hrag : Air intake / intercooler scoop?
Attachment 123407

@Hrishi, that's not an intercooler scoop - it's just a air-inlet to direct some more air to the engine, to cool it better.

Remember the calculations for the size of the intercooler inlet ? This inlet is a poser - and is way toooo small to be one.

LMAO Hrag!

And that gear lever - I hope they have been able to sort the vibes out. That gear lever has a mad genie residing in it - It almost took my knee off during my test drive! It has this tendency to really shake at certain rpms/gears/speeds (- no - 'vibrate' is too mild a word for what it does !)

I saw that too. And someone seems to have scratched their initials on it too - "Su/uS " ?

What color you ask? Did I go through similar vagaries whilst finally arriving to this not green here not grey there color? Thats coming up next.
Great writeup redliner, clearly captures all the little things that goes in to figure out the right one.

Congrats. Indeed its now a VFM product after the price drop.
You might want to get that silver tooth repainted body colour. What about tire change?

Hello boys! Drove down to mysore this morning after a quick visit to the asc to change the common immobiliser code the scorps come with. Idiots. Will be back tomorrow to continue the story.

Drat! And I've been referring to my Scorpio as 'she'!

The fuel gauges in all modern cars in India do not drop to zero with ignition off!

Congrats, though I'm two days late!

Spank you Redliner for the Scorpio Intro.

Must actually thank Hrishi for showing us the car. Nice pics Hrishi.

Wicked of you to com(pli)ment the scorpio through your pics.

Shahnawaz's keen telescopic eye already found a scratch on the car, aiyooo that might be some bitumen deposit, RL go check it ASAP.

Once again congrats on your Bugs Bunny.

@ redliner: congrats on our purchase redliner. great colour choice. the fuel indicator is normal, it takes time to go up once you have filled in fuel and it does not go down with the ignition switched off. as suman said, thats a feature... not a malfunction!

@ hrag: your posts confirm you are a true safari fanboy dude... LOL!!!
