Congratulations

Congratulations on the new ride. The interiors are absolutely fabulous. I have examined the Petrol but only seen briefly the Diesel. So please update us with your impressions.

Cheers,

Masha-allah! What a car!
Congratulations Kedar!
I remember watching the review of the car on one of the auto shows and wanting it to come to India. Now that it is here, i know what car i am buying next. Well they say it is a S-class at the price of a C-class? That true? Is is that good?
As far as the looks are concerned, it is gorgeous.

Congrats Kedar. Happy driving.

Does the car come with sunblinds on rear, rear-sides (those nylon net things)?

I will be sticking to the oem alloys and tyres, coz if anything goes wrong with the suspension, comany warranty will void.Auto parking or parkassist is not available in the Indian version. But the parktronic looks awesome on the massive colour display.
Secretly I know you want to turn to the dark side (Black geddit?)

What are the Stock sizes? And please do post some pics/video's of the Park Assist in Action.

Congrats on your purchase. Its a very good buy. Sheer Luxury - Beware of your service bills and JMD seems to be the best bet in Mumbai.

Great choice Kedar. Hope the dealer will live up your expectation in terms of A.S.S.

I too was looking for getting VKOOL done until I had an experience with the Lumar tints, from their top range and don't regret getting it, it works great just like VKOOL. Perfect.

Highway experience

Just a quick update;
Had been to Shirdi via Nashik on Saturday,I got an average of 11.5KMPL,My car dint have the tints done, the ambient temp was 44,so the car drove around 550KMS with ac on lowest settings. On empty patches it went to 160 without any hassles,it was not at all noisy in the cabin, was easy to manouver the car at 150-160.
The MFd was showing average consumption of 11.
As the car is new, maybe after 5k Kms ,it will give an average of 13-14Kmpl on mum-pune expressway.
The car has got enormous power and I could overtake each and every vehicle that came my way.
I will be doing mum-Goa in a couple of days will update on the same.
City mileage in andheri east to andheri west which is like bumper to bumper traffic I am getting average of 6.5KMPL.
To sum it up the car is like maska on garam tava!!!

No.

The Laura has a 1.9PDI. The Superb has a 2.0PDI with 33PS more power than the Laura.

Wonderful Car

Congrats ..!!

After 5k kms done , certainly Fuel efficiency shall increse to14-15 kmpl ( with Ac on Auto Econ mode ).
Try to drive with less of kick downs ( pressing the accelerator peddle fully), then certaily you will get good mileage.
Do use the 6 spped DSG gearbox with peddle shifts ( like one in Transporter 3 with Audi A4, gear selectors under the steering wheel).
There is so much about this beauty to talk.

Wish you happy journey.

Do update your jouney details to Goa.
