I saw a Nano yesterday, on the road in Pune on the Sancheti hospital bridge. It had a rather long temp registration - couldn't make out from where. It was definitely not a "MH" registration.

One thing I observed is that it seems to be decently quick. It was waiting at a signal just before the Sacheti Hospital bridge, the moment the signal turned green, it was the first one off the mark and darted ahead of all the other cars.

Toyota interested in Nano. Now thats some food for thought. Would that mean we should start wishing for an Aygo/Yaris with an 800 cc engine with low trim levels at 2 lakhs maybe Naaah !!! seems like a distant dream my kids might get to realise.

Nice pictures. Quality of interiors look decent for that price.

well why shouldn't toyota be interested? " the only way one can stay ahead of the rival, is by keeping one's ear to the ground and an eye on the horizon" old pranava saying

sure they will run through it and say...hmm we messed with the US manufacturers by giving them better cars now what do we do next against this little one of the future...

Thats the wierdest thing. The moment the driver parked the car,
they started scouthing the vehicle, up and down, in and out as if they had lost some coin.
The clicking and noting down for every detail was over within 5 mins.
Then they went inside the showroom.

Damn! The Japs are crawling all over it in parvez's photos. Wonder what the world's largest automaker hopes to learn, though?

Interestingly there seems to be a concealed tow-point on the rear bumper - highly ambitious?????

Toyota is also planning to launch a ultra small car in India.Hence the interest in Nano.
