Thats a short distance special bout/ spell generally happens in my case only on Saturdays when there is less traffic & is a pleasing experience for a person like me who have to drive 95% of time in Mumbai B2B traffic at an avg speed of 16 kmph.

Thats why so as not get consfusing (sorry still it confused you), I mentioned "only for 20 kms".

I never believe in such short distance FEs. But atleast it gives an indication what its capable of reaching.

Update:

Took the car for the paint protection as it was recommended by 3M to do it on 5th month and 9th month.
i wanted to pamper the beasty beauty as it had given me immense mileage and pleasure

the car looks in pristine showroom condition now.
after the paint protection when i came back home driving i had people drooling at my car as if it is brand new!!

Car looks really bright and glossy/shiny.
you have taken a good care Aswin.
But for my color Minimal Grey,Waxing won't give a much difference.
Waxing/Polishing will give a good effect in dark colors.
So only i avoid 3m Polishing.
I have never done any polishing in my car after delivery.
I just used to wash my car using Formula 1 Wash and Wax every week and Vacuum cleaning for interiors and plain water/Colin cleaning for dashboads,Seat Fabrics and other plastic parts.
Planned to buy Abel or Formuila 1 Wax or Amway Silicon Glaze to make my car more beautiful .

i didnt go for the package thing.

Now there are 2 things

1. paint protection ( for cars less than 12 months old) - Rs 4500/- for 0,5,9 monthstreatment
2. surface refinement ( for cars older than 12 months)- takes away the swirl marks and clear coat scratches Rs 3000 for linea single time

i did not choose and i preferred to do the 3 paint protection by paying money directly.

the first time i paid 1500/-

now they have charged me only Rs.1000/- as i am a regular there.

THEY SAID THEY WILL CHARGE THE SAME FOR ME ON MY 9TH MONTH PROTECTION ALSO !!

so i am saving 1k. lucky i didnt opt for the package thingy

I am sure the gloss and the finishing is worth a million......

they have even cleaned the bonnet and applied vinyl protector to interiors and dressed my tyres too.

afterall the biggest joy in the world for us is to see our cars shine!!

Nope karthik. i saw a a-star (white) and skoda laura ( white, a celebrity's car) getting paint protection yesterday. For the a-star the owner was confused, so they did a demo and showed him the difference and the difference was astounding!! believe me it really shone on naked eye

If you want just go there and ask for a demo and decide for yourself. i am sure you will definitely do it, after all it is only 1k

My dealer offered me WAXOYL Apperance Protection Paint as part of some hard negotiations. Since car is just a week old, i'm not seeing too much difference. Have seen 3M treatments offered at one of car accessories mall. Planning to know more from them on Saturday when I'm going there to get sun-filming done.

WAXOYL is a good treatment, in fact even better treatment. Its good its made available at dealership at pune. Opulent is i think representing waxoyl here. Unfortunately in Mumbai Waxoyl is not available at TASS. If I want to get it done, I've to get it done directly by Waxoyl/ opulent at my place

Had an opputunity to go to GP road/ woods road today along with my friend who had got a i10. was surprised to see linea car seat covers and chrome tail pipes and door sills available there. though i did not buy as i wanted to check their quality and then buy.

The guy there said linea accessories have come up and are available in most of the shops here

Door sill plates are very essential Accessory.
Got a lot of dust/mud deposition and scratches in that place while ingress and egress.
