Press Prnt Scrn. Then, open MS Paint>Paste>Crop to the desired size>Save it as JPEG in the desired folder. Then upload that JPEG file using Team-BHP advanced editor.

Update.

My car completed 2 years of ownership yesterday on apr 22. it has been a 2 year of fun ride with it and i am enjoying every bit of it

It also completed 30 thousand kms on ODO. I had Scheduled 3rd Free service at VST with help of Mr. Mangesh kodalkar as i was not satisfied at Concorde. Mr Rajasekar from fiat india had contacted me and fianlly scheduled the service at VST yesterday.

Jobs to be done

1. A/C kit upgrade
2. CSC upgrade
3 Rattle inside car

The car has been running like a dream for the past 4 months.

Planning to install KN filter and Bulb upgrade this week as a part of birthday present for my car.

will report back with bill and update and review

Re: Fiat Linea - 2nd Birthday !!!

I've tried using the punto 1.3 MJD 90hp, but nothing happens. When you insert the usb drive, it asks that "Was this linea driven by SUDIPTA?" which is my dad's name.

Please help out on this as it shows the gear shifts as 3 only, but all others 4.5.

Me too have the same problem. I completely uninstalled ecoDrive and reinstalled by selecting car as Punto 1.3 and after 5 days of driving, I plugged in the USB, and all it asked was "Tell us about your Linea". The ecoDrive takes the model from the car's ECU, and I guess there is no other way but to live up with the 2 or 3 stars that we get for gear shifts until ecoDrive comes up with support for Linea 1.3.

@geeash, congrats on clocking 30k on the ODO and hope your service experience with VST is good.

Re: Fiat Linea - 2nd Birthday !!!

Update:

The car is 2 years old now as i had bought the car on Apr-22-2009. The car crossed 30k kms right on its birthday. Planned for service a week earlier as i didnt want any hassles for last minute blunders. This time i didnt want to leave the car at concorde ambattur which was its regular service centre for the past 2 years. They have made too much of blunders with my car and i was not ready to send my car again for their experiments. So called up Mr.Mangesh a week earlier and voiced my concerns. He responded well and said he will try to arrange service at some other place this time.

I didnt want to go staright to VST or TAFE and give them the car as i wanted them to know the history of all the harrowing experience i have suffered. So i wanted to go through proper channel so that i dont deserve stepmotherly treatment from a different TASS.

Mr. rajasekar ( fiat chennai service head) responded back in a hour saying Mangesh had told him to take over. He said he will arrange it and call me. i told him my main purpose of the 3rd free service was not only general service but to have the A?C kit retro upgrade and CSC change.

He got to me back saying the kit was not available with TAFE and is due to come in a week and he will arrange for service on monday. Got a call from him the next day saying he has arranged the kits at VST ( wow what a follow up i never expected this). I was happy as i have been told a hundred times to shift my base to VST by AKS Karthik.

An hour later i was got a call from mr.kribakar from VST who is a SA. He told me that he got the enquiry from Mr.Charles the CRM of VST who has been briefed by Mr. Rajasekar. i was told that the service slots were full and my car will be taken up on saturday for service. I was asked to leave the car for the same on saturday morning at VST workshop at anna salai.

Saturday:

Went there by 9 sharp and called the SA. He was already there. After brief introduction and chit chat ( blah blah from team-bhp and teamfiat) got to work. told him my requisites and A/C and CSC change. He had already done his home work. since i had left the car two days after 2 years of purchase the warranty period was over ( his home work paid off) and so he had logged my car for service two days earlier so that he can claim it in warranty ) . I was told that car will be ready on that evening or on monday. so after reassurance i left the TASS

Saturday evening i got a update that all the necessary work was underway and car will be available only on monday as they need further time to do some more work since sunday was a holiday

monday:

Got a call about 3 pm saying the car was ready for delivery and the renumeration for service was 4500/-approx . i was smiling as i remembered shelling close to 7-8k bucks for my 3rd service for santro. told the SA that i will not be able to come tonight with my work commitments. so told him that i will come on tuesday morning at 9 to pick up the car.

Today ( tuesday)
Reached by 9 AM and called the SA and he was present there and told me to wait at customer lounge till he makes thye bill ready and get the car out of the work shop. In another 15 minutes he came and took me to his desk and started explaining all the jobs done with job card and the bill., ( another smile as this has never been done at concorde in recent times). after answering all the queries addressed to my satisfaction i was told to pay the bill which i paid. (Picture enclosed). Saw my car gleaming in the hot sun, interior washed and dressed and tyre cleaned and as good as new. Was told to take a test drive which i refused as it was getting late for work. Told him that i will drive it and check up when i drive out.

He gave me a cup of tea and escorted me out. He gave me a customer feedback form which i gave him 10/10. He told me that if i find any of my problem not addressed i can bring it back anytime in a week to get it re addressed.

drove out................

Post service:

Rattles gone. A/C is Chill now and is great for the summer, though i am able to hear a hum of the a/c inside the cabin little more. I havent checked other things. will report back as and when i drive the car in a couple of days

Things to do as a birthday present for my car this weekend

1. K&N filter upgrade ( can some one tell me where i can install in a reliable outlet)
2. Bulb upgrade , This week for sure
3. Interior and surface refinement at 3M probably next week

Re: Fiat Linea - 2nd Birthday !!!

I think the tyres are coming towards the end of its life. Probably another 5K.

Any plans for the tyre change/upgrade?
