Its very sad to see the car in this state.

However, its very remarkable to see the Linea take the hit and still keep the occupants safe.

Wondering if the City or Dezire would have been able to take this sort of a hit and still keep the occupants safe?

might be around 5k.
50% of Bumper + 50% of Rear left light + 50% of silver cladding.
rest everything will be under insurance cliam.

I dont think it will be such a meager sum. I thought it should be around 10-20k. Is it not. or am i getting fooled !!?

Thank god the occupants are safer post such a tragedy!Some body really hit the nail on its head when the talked about the "Tijori" like build .

As regards the expenses ,it must be around 10k and rest borne by the Insurance.

Metal Parts + Denting & Painting + Labour will be borne by the Insurance.
50% of Plastic will be paid by you.
On seeing you picture, Only the Rear Left Light , Bumper , Bumper Silver cladding have to be replaced.

Your share approximately:

Rear Left Light - Rs. 1500
Bumper - Rs. 2000
Bumper Silver cladding - Rs.500
Other plastic consumables - Rs. 500

So it comes around Rs. 5000 only.

The parts are all procured and the repairs are being done. The SA said i will get the car back on Friday yay !!

Filed a FIR and they have traced the vehicle. Have got the Damage certificate and has dropped the vehicle at VST body shop poonamalee. The Future Generali people were prompt enough to survey it today morning itself.

Lucky Escape for me and my family because of the tank like build

Sad to see a car damaged...

Pretty similar damages like my colleague's flamingo red linea had suffered. He was involved in a 5 car crash some months back.
The total repair cost for him was some 60k if i remember correctly.
After repairs we can hardly see any signs of the accident.

Surprise surprise !!!. I was hoping to the tune of 10-12k.

Bloody concord cheaters charged me 12k for just a broken bumper replacement and paint job last time remember !!

Just hope that the work is as good as i expect !!

Where my calculation went wrong?
Some 2k increase from my calculation.
Anyhow you seems to be very happy.
Please check each & every repaired area thoroughly before taking delivery in bright sunlight.
