Nice ride Omar. Did you go for that comprehensive maintenance thing that BMW offers where they take care of everything for five years?

Wow, the car looks fantastic. In fact, the same colour as the 750 Li that I'd driven. Pictures don't do justice to the car at all, she looks absolutely wicked in person.

Does take some time to get used to the width in rush hour traffic. And with the 750 Li, she was shooting forward at the mere tap of the throttle. Hows the diesel to drive? I bet its quick. Do update us with some outright acceleration comments once the running in has been completed.

The boot looks strangely narrow for such a large car. It's long yes...but pretty narrow bay area.

I've been a fan of the new 7 since the time of launch. And then, when I saw one in person, it changed to lust . BMW sure as hell made up for the ugly 7 series of the previous generation.

Congratulations. You have all of us turning green in envy. Drive safe!

Thanks GTO !! I have seen all the colours and this is the best one. The mineral white is great too.

I won't be driving it at all, don't want to take the risk of bumping it into mad jerks in Agra !!

People in Agra have no driving sense at all !! But we can't do anything, on Sundays if we go out on a drive with our father the only thing we hear from his mouth how great Calcutta is !! (He is from there LOL ).

Yes the Boot is smaller in comparison to the S class, even though the S has a spare !!

We went for the diesel because of the price and also because it's economical and we don't need the power of the 750Li !!

Yup looks better than the previous 7, no more Bangle Butt !!

Regards

Omar

Congrats Omar for a wonderful ride. The pics make me VERY VERY tempted !!
Take good care of her and be very careful while taking out in the city. I know the mad city traffic can be very frightening.

Wish you a hassle-free and enjoyable ownership/motoring experience.

Hey Omar

Congratulations to you and your Dad on the purchase. the car looks a stunner. BTW is the obsession with the spare wheel got anything to do with the E class issues. BMW does offer a long term maintenance program, do check it out

Re: The ultimate sedan BMW 7 Series (730LD) : Edit - Now bought

Hey,

First of all sorry for igniting a thread that's more than a year old. We've have a 730ld which is just a year old and I wanted to know if you have made any modifications to yours yet. I was specifically looking at an ECU remap to push it to 280bhp. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
