Didn't anyone tell you that I'd kill for one of those?

Good thing you haven't put up your details in your profile. :P

Just kidding. Seeing the 2nd pic made me realize how humongous the Q7 really is. Love it!

Quick question: How does it feel to intimidate even the bus and lorry drivers on the national highways ?

Could we know which resort you own?
Also, you surely need better looking rims. Give it a thought. These current ones look very plain and not at all elegant.

congrats on the ride. Indeed its a little crazy that the mirror ( and paint , etc ) costs more than a Lakh.

Great to see you are so happy with this, that's more important than the car itself. Your excitement really came through in your posts and one can't help but feel happy for you.

The car looks lovely. Enjoy it. A pity that after paying nearly 80 lakhs Audi has to be small minded and charge ridiculous sums for trivial things like side mirrors with their assembly.

@raul

I don't think that Audi's being small minded by charging 1.2 lacs for a mirror.

They don't make the same in India, and the duties etc would surely push up the cost.

Needless to say it's not just a 'rear view mirror'!

In almost all probability, it's electrically powered, it's heated, it's auto dimming, it has got 5 coats of paint, blah blah.

Don't you think that would cost real money to build? Add to that the installation cost by an audi trained professional, and suddenly the 1.2 lac figure doesn't look that high.

If I'm not wrong, a skoda laura mirror costs somewhere around 10-15k,right ? (Please correct me if I'm not right)

If that is the case, 1.2 lacs, though a HUGE amount of money, is not really overpriced, IMO.

@d3mon..
1.2lakhs is not just for the mirror alone, its including repairing and painting the front door too.

Lovely car mate. Really unfortunate that the RVM was damaged so early.

Please post better pics of the whole car and also underhood pics of the monster.

Drive safe.

Congratulations.

A very good machine you got there, But just one criticism the Alloys are not good, if possible get them changed and the car will look even better.
