Congrats for the beast. The vehicle with mHawk engine is a gem. Do post your buying experience and what all accessories are you planning.

It is scary to read so many Scorpio theft reports. Can any Bangalore buddies suggest a good place to get the gearlock and also preferred make if any?

Congrats Ross, she does look nice in Black and Silver, though I must admit that the pics look a little purpleish. I think it might have something to do with the harsh sunlight or the cam. Look forward to more pics taken early in morning when the light is not that harsh.

Ohhhhh, it raning scorpios on this forum! great car buddy! i feel the bumpers & cladding would have been better in black. anyways, do tell in brief about your ownership experience & reviews.

1) car is noisy? what? its the most silent diesel SUV this side of 15 lakhs!
2) shuddering... lol... well, you will get used to that disco dancer, i mean that gear lever.
3) go through the DVD you got with the manual, carefully.
4) change the immobilzer code ASAP. since new scorpios have iCat security, there are lesser chance of them getting stolen, but why take chances?

happy motoring.

@ takumi-san: the dual colours are optional, depends on the varinats. also, he did not remove the stickers. those stickers are present only in the VLX, not SLE.

Ross like to hear more about your new Scorpio - yes the gear lock is very essential. I am still going slow on it but should have the gear lock by tomorrow.

black Scorpio is awesome but personally i would have gone for single tone black cladding.

or if no way out then i would have gone for the white Scorpio with single tone!

but anyways congratulations man very cool ride!

Congrats

Congrats Ross! I went to check out the new Scorpio and even did a brief TD. My sense was that fit and finish has improved (really glad they replaced that ridiculously designed and ill-fitting back-step with the rear-bumper integrated step in the new one). Now that you have one, what's your impression? Maybe other happy new owners can jump in too.

Congrats!

Nice Review and Photos, the only think i like in Scorpio being an SUV is it is fitting the painted parking lot perfectly good. This should be flexible enough to find a parking space in a busy Indian roads.

Thats cool Red Liner. Mass gear locking at Bangalore like mass marriages.
