Will definitely do.. You are really missing something, if you have not taken her on the highway! Plan for a long trip with your beauty. You will really cherish each and every moment you will have on the wheels.

By the way.. How will a rear spoiler look in a Linea? Is there any available? Suggestions please... I am planning for a OEM one (if available)!

Regards,
Sathya

True.. But my pocket is tight and am not sure whether I can go for alloys at this moment. May be after 6-8 months I may opt for one. Thanks for the pic! I can try similar ones..

Sathya,

If you view my below link, you can see some pictures with spoilers on Linea and also how it is made in the factory. Really looks great on Linea with all those spoilers. But we are still to get these in India. These are from Brazil...

One slight problem that I am finding..

Whenever I drive the car over a rough patch or mild pot holes.. There is a slight but clearly audible sound coming from the underbody of the car. This is definitely not a rattling sound coming from doors / seats / dashboard. The sound looks like some plastic part is slowly hitting a metal part or with another plastic part under the body of the car or in the engine bay. I went under the body to inspect whether something is loose but I found everything to be OK.

The sound is distinctly coming from below the driver's area..My doubt is, whether it is the steering column that creates this mild "tak tak tak" noise. Pls note that this comes when only driven on rough patches of roads or small pot holes. This is not the sound that comes when taking turns as reported by others. Anyone can help here?

Any similar issue being faced?

Pls help.
Sathya

@ Sathya,

Dont take it to Concorde for sure after reading geeash's thread.
There are issues with some Linea's steering vibrations which the service centre people told me. Get it checked ASAP. It makes vibrations when steering is turned a full turn to one side.
Your issue though seems different, my suspensions make a "thud" sound when i hit potholes but its there in my friend's Linea too. Does the sound come while steering is straight or when you turn it over bad roads?

Cool boy,.

1. There are no vibrations in the steering that I can feel. Its very smooth.
2. The sound comes when I hit small pot holes / rough roads and when I am driving straight or in turns. The sound comes from the under body of the car. My guess was the steering. I am not sure though.
3. There is no distinct sound that comes during turnings from the steering. I think my problem (the tak tak sound) is different from the "steering turning" problem you have mentioned.

Very rarely my suspension makes a thud... But it does in certain occasions.

Regards,
Sathya

Sathya,

It seems something is loose underbody. Only service centre people can have a look by putting up the car on that ramp thing. Get it checked, does the noise come on all occasions when you hit rough roads or only sometimes?

Get it checked at your service centre.

My linea also makes thud sounds even for small holes/patches on the road.
I feel the ride jittery and not stable.
Also when making sharp turns, my seating position becomes unsettled ... is it a case of smooth seat material?
