well two different animals really. with the palio needed to keep the revs up all the time and with my headers (4x1..kicked in at about 3.5k rpm) lost a lot of my low end grunt. in the city it was constant battle with the gears....but on the highway this baby was a dream to drive but city drive was a struggle...but i20 on the other hand has good low end grunt and is a low revving engine, so its dream to drive in the city. and the overall driving experience is a lot more refined :-) and the truth is Ive become a different animal as well, a lot more sober.... was beginning to get really tired of my engine growl and stuff,,,age i guess!!

Congratulations Anoop. And guys, any idea when i20 will be released with BS IV compliant engine? I know it is Euro IV/V ready etc but my understanding is that the present model is still BS III compliant. Is my understanding correct?

congrats on your new purchase anoops.

dont put dark tints and spoil the look of the car, put some clear tints or the lightest shade possible to give the white car a clean look!

does the 1.2 engine feels underpowered in i20?

There are not many Asta versions around here, so I am asking you something specific. Do you feel the horn is bit hard (need to push hard) with the built-in remote and other buttons on the steering wheel limiting its space to the centre ? I did a TD on asta and found the horn had to be literally pushed very hard. Sales guy did not have an idea why it is. I assume the reasons as 1)Airbag, 2)remote buttons limiting the horn to the centre part. Please give your comment.

I did a TD of verna 1.6 VTVT and i20 Asta, confused between the two since 48 hours. I want to book one by 17th. The waiting period for asta is 2 months with no discounts, verna will be delivered in 10 days with close to 30k discounts. If anyone could give me some tips, please, not intending to start a thread on this. Thanks.

@shajufx...yeah the horn is a bit hard, but i got over that problem by pressing the edges of the horn, dont depress the middle part. its more convenient as well, dont have to take you hands off the wheel!
@chetan...never been near wilson garden with this car :-)
@myavu..dont know the model no. mate
@faithless_1984...will do dude!
@wildon...have't seen the ducts myself...will check.
