Congrats! Let's see the pics.

I test drove the Ritz last weekend. There were only two things I did not like about it - flimsy door panels (esp. the arm rest with window roll up controls) and a little claustrophobic feeling on the rear seats (the roof line and the small rear glass).

The Ritz does look like a good package otherwise!

Now that was really quick Damodar. Congraulations.
How about a detailed review with comparison to your previous hatch, and some inputs while you wade through the run in period?

manson.

I test drove the Ritz at the new Bimal showroom at Kemp Fort, Bangalore
The only reason i didn't like it is that i am 6'2 and i found it a bit crammed up for my size.

But otherwise i loved it.

I saw a Ritz on road yesterday. Loved the back of the car. Not to say the road presence was something which i didn't expect watching the car in pictures. The car looks meaty just like the swift. A close friend of mine also has booked a ZXi and is waiting for the delivery.

Congrats on the new car. Do post some pics :P

Also are you thinking about upsizing the tires.

Congrats for being the first thread opener for Ritz!

A unique color choice. What was the OTR and how much was VDI costing you that you choose LDI version?

My camera is conked out just waiting to post god pics rather than cell phone pictures.Actually this car was a stretch for in terms of price so the mods will have to wait.

I havent driven the car much since waiting for the invoice papers and also dealer did not have mud flaps available will have to wait for another 3-4 days for them. But overall its a very sweet driving car with the steering giving good feedback.I thought WagonR A/C was good but this is way better. Its 42deg out here in day time the A/C is cooling in no time.

The initial surge of the Swift is missing but i found it much easier to drive in our traffic conditions.

Except for power windows, fog lamps and the tacho i am not missing much from the VDI
since i never drive the car without A/C i will not miss power windows.Fog lamps and wheel caps and remote lock is 10000 rs still i would have saved 28000 compared to the VDI model.

No tuning box for me because i bought this car for its fuel efficiency and i found the pickup more than enough to surge past others on highways with full load and A/C.May be after an year own the line.

My previous car had done 13800km in 8 months and i was not satisfied with its FE it was giving me 11 city and 16 highway. Also the wagonR suspension, braking and handling is good enough till 90 beyond that it becomes stressfull since increased concentration is required.I found the Ritz a very good cruiser at 110-120kmph speeds which suited my requirement.

My brother is 6`1 and he loved the seats and the driving position.

The rear looks good and is instantly recognizable in a parking lot.

I am still looking at all the options available but the stock tyres are being offered 800 bucks so i am planning to use them for a year and go for a new set then.

On road price was 527395 and VDI was 38000 more which does not come with ICE.Since i know the MGP spare distributor here i can always buy the missing items ike wheel caps fog lamps and still have money for ICE.

saw a chocolate ritz on the road. Had tons of prescence. Your rims look naked. get some alloys/OE wheelcaps

Nice pictures Damodar.
IMO, The rims don't do justice to the car. Try to stretch the budget a bit and get alloys!
