Indigo CS LS TDI Arctic Silver

Yiipppeee ...

Yesterday I got delivery of my new Indigo CS LS TDI Arctic Silver. I finalized the deal with R. D. Motors, Kolkata. One senior from my College works in Sales, Tata Motors in Kolkata. He helped me to choose the dealer, I got the best deal from R. D. Motors.
I consulted with K. B. Motors and Lexus Motors too.

I also checked with all Maruti Dealers for Swift VDi.

Personal Opinion : Maruti agents take it for granted that people will buy Maruti anyway, so that 'If you buy or don't buy Maruti, I don't care' attitude.

Yesterday my family drove 58 KMs with 6 Lits Diesel and with full AC on.

I checked and inspected lots of things pre-delivery but found everything was fine.

Photos to come.

A couple of things to mention.
1. Engine has a noise (being diesel one) which is audible even if the full AC is on.
2. I am planning to buy an ICE with roof mounted LCD Display, So I need your help.
3. I am planning to buy a good quality seat cover.

I appreciate all your efforts to make this thread such a wondeful place, I read all post on https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...ulkarni-4.html (New Car PreDelivery Inspection List Part I, II, III and IV (by Kishor kulkarni)) and follow almost 50% of it.

Thanks for such lovely post.

I am always available as I have fair idea about cars (buying a new one or used one) as I own a small rental car service. Please feel free to ask me anything.

*I need serious help about the ICE.

Thanks You.

Congratulations.

I fully did not understand about the drive. Better to keep the fuel tank at least quarter full.

Congrats friend.

Your points on Maruti, yes I agree. And I see no reason why they should not

People will buy maruti and they will continue to do so. Atleast for the next decade. They have build such a brand and so now enjoying the outcome.

Congratulations on your buy!
I agree that the engine is lound in tdi!
get hood-liner done. its an under hood treatment to basically suppress the sound coming out of the engine bay. It should reduce the engine sound considerably.
rest enjoy the turbo! and drive safe!
cheers

The fuel pump works better with a little more fuel in the tank. My overall mileage over my 57000+ kms is almost 14kpl. This is with 100% AC. The chances of a pure highway driving is very less in my case.

Since I know, I am giving the answer. It is 375 Litres. A regular Indigo is 450 Litres.

I installed 4" front pairs, 6" rear seakers ( both Pioneer ).
The boot capacity is 380 Lits which I find ok.
