Looks amazing, nice interiors that altis has.

Apart from rear spoiler, is there any other difference that Sports edition has ?

Harish though I empathize with you, its kind of insulting to the new car to not have its name included in the thread title. I agree you have had a bad experience from skoda, but that should not stop you from loving your new car.

Slightly Off Topic. I see that the car has the high security number plates. Are they now mandatory in Maharashtra, and if yes, since when? Any idea about the status in other states?

Nice. All you need is a Team-BHP sticker on the car . Congrats again!

WOW.

Opened her up this weekend.

Drove Mumbai - Nasik - Pune - Mumbai. 600 kms in all. No vehicle overtook me. Topped up fuel at the start and the finish.

Had a ball. She lived up to expectations. Never faltered even once. Hope she maintains it this way.

Smooth drive. Responds well to flooring her. Touched 180 on the expressway. Ran out of road. A wee bit shaky at 180 though.

Completed 1000 kms in a week. Due for 1st service/inspection.

Average about 11 kms/litre.

Trying to make up for the lost 16 months of driving time.

Didn't take the Esteem beyond a particular point.

Serviced the car today. Slowly getting acquainted with her.

@ GTO - Yes I need the Team BHP sticker.

@ hemant - I do love my car buddy. I am sorry I didn't add the name of the car. I think the Mod's took care of it.

The skirtings, Wooden glass holders on the rear arm rest. (Hate the wooden parts though). Trims on the head lamp. And Rs. 40,000/- .. And Oh yes, I shouldn't forget the sports sticker.

All these words keeps me going. However, this eats up so much in to my personal and professional time. Hope it ensures a positive change.

Cheers

Harish, Congratulations on your buy from a very happy owner of Altis. Its been 2 months and I am loving every bit of my drive. However, I did get a surprise last week, when the one of the horns gave way (I am told there are dual horns, but I am not sure what does it mean). However, I called up TKM that evening & next day they picked up the car from my office, replaced the horn and returned it before I had to leave for the day. Of course, the horn was under guarantee, so they didn't charge me for it but they didn't charge me for the pick up & drop as well.
Am describing my experience just so that you know that you are now in safe hands. Happy driving!

Sorry for the late reply, How about a bumper sticker saying

"My other car is a lemon S(k)oda"

Edit: or in Hindi "My other car is a nimbu S(k)oda"
