@Alter_Ego - dude, you purchased this Safari about 14 months ago, during which you drove it for approx 19k kms and now you are selling it off (Team-BHP Classifieds - Tata Safari 3.0L DICOR - Powered by PhotoPost Classifieds) at a price higher than what you actually bought it for!
Whoever said cars are depreciating assets
Just for your kind information :
spent 40K on ICE
35K+ on alloys and bridgestone tubeless
7K on anti-rust treatment
15K on HID's
45K last month itself on stanley leather interiors.
and the list goes on....

But don't worry.I always believe in transparent deals.Never believed in duping people else I would have not created this thread in the first place where your respectable post is posted.
Those who know me from t-bhp can vouch for that.

In case you find any other safari with the same model selling for a cheaper rate and make then go for it.Its your hard earned money. No one's forcing you to buy mine.

I am moving abroad and needed some extra money to sponsor my studies and therefore selling my baby. But one of my t-bhp friend lent a helping hand and I am in no more need of cash.
So no more safari on sale

Thanks Rajeev
I guess I made more friends here than on FaceBook. After seeing your first reply I was wondering whether do I even need to post the extra details as you had already mentioned so.

And not to mention the relief I got when I realised I will get to keep my beast.

@Alter_Ego:

Good to know that you will be holding on to your vehicle. Am going thru a similar dilemma with the Alto.

And wish you all the best for the relocation and studies.

So? Unlike new cars that have a fixed MRP, used car prices are set by the seller & buyer. No one's holding a gun to anyones head. If any buyer is willing to get the Safari at the price quoted by Alter Ego, it means he (the buyer) feels this particular SUV is worth it. Alter Ego could have gotten the car at a really good rate, or may have spent a certain amount on sprucing up the vehicle (as he has stated). It's entirely his call on what price he expects for the Safari.

My Jeep could fetch me exactly the $$$ I paid for her a decade ago. If not more. A friend of mine bought an Esteem at a really good price (lower than what it was actually worth, thanks to his bargaining skills). He used it for 9 months and, thanks to the demand, sold it for about 15% more than he'd gotten her home for. What does the original acquisition price have to do with anything?

Personally, as a buyer, I don't mind paying a fat premium for a well-maintained car. And, as a seller, I've always gotten a fat premium for my well-maintained car.

Fair enough. Just that the price quoted was almost 1.5 times that of the fair value (Individual) listed on carwale.com for a similar model in Excellent condition - hence the

Anyway, on the lines of Quadra - how about some pics Alter_Ego?
