I am awaiting delivery of my red MJD emotion pack. But according to Mr. Kulkarni (Sales Mgnager, Pandit), they don't have any red punto in stock.
Did you get to see any red punto in their stockyard? just to confirm what he was saying was true.

I cannot confirm if there is a red in his stockyard because I did not go there. But there was no red car in the basement. That I am sure about that.

On Friday last week I had been to Pandit for buying a rear wiper for my Palio. I saw red Punto parked just outside the reception with temp number. I dont know whether it was a demo car or customer car.

Guess what? I wanted a black as well, but I kinda foresaw this and add the trouble of keeping a black car clean, I decided I wasn't ready for one, yet. Another factor that kept pulling me back was that black cars are the most vandalized.

Got a minimal grey instead, and while the color is not exciting, with the right tints, she does look cute !!clap:

Yes, Pandit has a red MJD Demo car. Make sure you don't end up with that. I took a test drive in that car. It had a nasty dent on the lower side of the door. right or left i cant recall.

What were your "right tints" :-)? I just checked out VKool. The Economy Range with VKool 70 in front and i guess 45 all around is about 19300.

Just spoke to the 3M guys. Will be taking the car to CARAX on the Pune Bangalore highway over the weekend.

I am planning to get the following things done:

1. 3M Paint treatment
2. 3M Underbody (antirust) coating
3. 3m Sound Deadning pads.
4. Thinking of getting something done for the interiors to get all the plastics polished.

For the sunfilm - im tossing between VKool and 3M just now. Havent decided as yet.

Give the CARAX guys my reference. They will give you a good price (read discount)

I forgot the 3M guys name there. You can tell him that CARAX was refered to you by the owner of the Blue Punto :) Or let me know when you are going there .. I will just drop in as a courtesy visit and arrange to get a discount for you.

Got her Home this Friday. Here are some pics.

How do I add text before every image? Anyway, until i figure that out-

1. Average Consumption has increased from 11 as displayed at delivery time to 15. The car came with 134 kms on the ODO. I checked practically all the cars on display at Pundit. All of them had 120km + readings.
2. Avg Speed 27 km/h
3. Upgraded rubber! Primacy LC
4. Punto + Zen
5. Car before Tints
6. Car After Tints: Lumar AVS 60 front, Sides and rear - forgot the name - will check and update later.

Only problem so far is that some times, I get a faint "tak tak" noise from the front left & rear suspension. Last night I shoot the car and the noise was coming from behind. But today morning, i tried again and there was no sound. will get this checked on Monday.

Can you please post some interior pics? Please confirm if you have performed the below tasks, if Yes, then what is the cost involved ->

Lakh, lakh badhaen ho. Looking stunning and also welcome to Punters club.

You can do this yourself easily.
Buy a product called "interior protectant". It will be a white liquid. and will give a nice shine to the dashboard and all (avoid putting it on steering wheel).

I use "son of a gun (by STP)"
Also Sonax cockpit spay is also good.

Infact the same is done by TASS during servicing of my Linea. Their cleaning process was really thorough.
In contrast MASS for my Zen was - wash and vacuum, thats it!
