Hey HappyWheels, i had to drop in at Concorde, Dairy Circle, this evening. Saw an identical GX like your's, on display. Was wondering if that was your RedBull itself, by any chance :P

@JKdas,

Good question; but I do not think there is any specific running in for the 4x4. As long as the engine rpm is maintained, I reckon it should be fine. And I hope I am right, but would love to be corrected, if otherwise.

@DKamath,

They have a GX 4x2 at display for quite some time. My vehicle is spending its time at the lower basement. I am not sure if this is one that one another BHP'ian has brought. We will know if this disappears from the display next week.

JK,
Infact a very good question, i would be interested in knowing how much the existing Safari 4x4 users used the 4x4 during the running in period ?

Running in is required for all mechanical components part of or taking power from the engine or working with the help of engine. Please follow the manufacturers recommendation.

run in period is recommended by every car manufacturer in their manuals, so its better to stick to the manual recomendation.

Dear all,

Got the delivery yesterday at around 4pm. Finally the circle is complete! Phew! Will post the delivery and initial experience in a new thread.

@Gowda,
Mate, if I had sat at T-BHP at 10.30pm after coming back home, my wife and kids would have lovingly disowned me then and there. (I was able to sneak in to see you post, when I had the laptop in the excuse of looking at the photos! )

@Pavan,
Thanks a ton for the snaps! Especially the Michelin man photos!!!
