Hiya Don_carmaster, Thanks for your suggestions. I sure will be going in for a 7 seater. I'm still a bit dicy on the color. I have finally freezed on a white or a black . The Black just recently took a grip on my mind for the good looks it gets for the car. BTW in mumbai I've started to spot white XYLOs with yellow number plates (Taxis). So, I think might will go for a black. I feel it black makes XYLO look more appealing!

Well.. hey I must tell you this! I am still struck by surprise as you got! The E6 does not come with a music system anymore (though their website still says it does). They stopped it. The sales guy told me its the E4 and E8 which sells most. The E6 is going to take time for me too. They've said might take about 4 weeks. So Lets see. i'll keep posting.

3. 7 seater or 8 seater? (Whats best - Say if there is luggage to carry?)
4. Would the Teflon Coat + Anti Rust help to begin with on the brand new car?
5. Given 10K for accessories - whats the must I should go for?
1. Its sad that they do not offer the 2Din on the E6. i found the E6 VFM. It had all the bells and whistle except for alloys wheels, flight tray and a few info on the DDAS. I think I can live without them.

2. These guys are cruel when it comes to choosing a color of your choice. Usually some colours are variant specific. Is white available across all variant's? Please check.

3. I chose the 7 seater. Carrying luggage on the Xylo is something that you will get used to. The middle row has cavities under to stuff, also the gap inbetween the capatain seats in the middle row make for good space. You can also line up in the rear space. I think the 7 seater is more classsy and comfortable for travel.

4. I did not do anything.

5. There is nothing much I can think of now. Opt for a good set of fabric mats to go with your interiors.

Wish you luck, hope to read your review soon. All the best.

Now, I asked the sales guy the same question and this is what he said.

The Xylo will be available with a 4WD option soon. Thats the reason for the high GC. I dont believe him though.

hearty congratulations vista. white is a nice colour for the xylo.

regarding the accessories, i would have recommended buying the front crash guard from outside & not the dealer. the dealer would be expensive.

also, my opinion would be- avoid the rear guard & the rear spoiler. the rear guard will actually make your xylo look like a taxi & xylo (unlike the scorpio) looks better without a spoiler. infact, the spoilers supplied by the dealership (which i have mostly seen on xylos on the road) is very ugly.

!! Thank you raj5004 !!

Co-incidently I spotted a maroon coloured Xylo with a rear crash guard (steel). Not only to avoid blocking the reverse sensors the rear guard has to be fitted very low but also it does make the car look ugly..I think I can do without it.

I'll call the accessory guy and get that omitted.

Thank you again.

Hey congratulations on the new aquisition vista. hope to read your reviews soon.

P.S.: I personally like the spoilers on then Xylo E8 as it does not come with ski racks it adds a little bit of depth to the bare back of the Xylo but its your vehicle its your call. I am attaching a pic of my spoiler enjoy and happy motoring

Regards
Rocky

hey vista, i was going to tell you this!

the spoiler "rock080" has installed in his xylo is good, atleast better than the "raised" spoilers (you can see a gap between the spoiler & the vehicle roof) i see commonly on most xylos in mumbai.

Hey raj_5004 this is the spoiler that is provided at the Bangalore showroom i bought my vehicle from. It is not an aftermarket part.As far as i know this is what is provided at all mahindra showrooms across the country(I maybe wrong)

Rocky

then i think there are two types/choices of spoilers provided at the showrooms. because the spoiler i have seen on most xylos are different from this one.
