Do check for proper paint finish as yours is Flamenco red.
Ensure proper Bumper-body color match.

Also check for rust at all nooks and corners of the car.

I usually fill nitrogen at "Tyre Shop" in South end road, next to Bangalore hospital. It lasts min 3 mths and costs 120 Rs(for safari) for 4 tyres Else i guess it is Rs25/tyre. Top up is Rs 40 for 4 tyres. Also you can try Sai Iyengar in Lalbagh road opp Garuda showroom. It is the same rate there.

That was a bit long, but diligent purchase experience!
You did the right thing, when we are investing around 8 lacs on a car, we need to make doubly sure that it is a right choice!

Congrats on your choice, Linea offers the best package in its segment!

Do post the pics & your initial impressions once you get the delivery.

@bkishore_77
Thanks for the info. This is very helpful.

@neotraveller
Thanks I will certainly check that. Is there a list of item that I need to ensure is provided with the car that is specific to Linea? I believe there is something called as a code card.

@vinay.pillai
Have you given your Linea for service yet? If yes, how was the experience at Prerana?

I plan to change the Linea speakers soon. 2 questions:
1. Which is the best speakers in the market (5-10k budget)?
2. Will this affect the Fiat warranty?

That is good to hear !! How many BHPians from Bangalore have the Linea? I think it would be a good idea to have an email group and share experiences about Linea and TASS.

Update from SBI:
Loan is approved and all paperwork is complete from their side. Now I need to sign the contract but for this they don't have any free time slots till Thursday so they have given me appointment at 10 AM on Thursday. So no delivery this week as well.

.

Here are your answers:
1. Since the Vehicle is sold by TASS just ensure that it is scratch free + follow the TBHP PDI Checklist. Also ensure that you recieve the Code card for the spare keys
2. Circuit -I sensors are quite good. red soul is better!
3. OE floormats given FOC by the dealer are of carpet. tend to get dirty when used during rains. you can either buy Packy Poda PVC based Mats and cut them to fit the Linea or Order OE rubber mats from Germany on Ebay.com which will set you back by about 4K. i right now have packy Poda Mats which i will dispose off once the Mats ordered from Germany arrive
4. Boston Accoustics Speakers are Good and come at your price range. they are manufactured by D&M holdings the Company which manufactures Allen and heath, Denon DJ Products
5. Warranty will be void if any changes are done to the electrical or other systems, Since the speakers will require an AMP to drive them, you will need to install an AMP as the Output of the Stock headunit can Support just 20W * 4 speakers. IMHO the best sound can be derived from the stock setup by fine tuning the Equaliser and using good quality Mp3 files thru USB

Talked with Iyengar today regarding tyre exchange for the Linea. Goodyear GT3 costs 2400/- and will take it back at 1900/-. Michelin Primacy LC costs 4600/-, so exchange price is 13500/- for 5 tyres.

Also dealer mentioned that Michelin tyres are not suitable for Indian roads and the side walls tear very easily and Michelin doesn't provide replacement as well. He recommended sticking to Indian made tyres than imported ones. Hoping to hear on this from BHPians

I was today given my car's chassis number. It ends with FPZ. So as per information on another Linea thread my car is of June 09 make. I asked dealer to give me a July 09 make but he had only Bossa Nova white which are July 09 make.

BHPians/Lineans - is it ok to buy the June 09 make of Linea?
