who will take the pain of going to milan etc. i am getting it made from the company that got the ARAI approval. i can always change after some time. it's not like they are welded on to the car. surely they can be disposed if newer ones have to be put.

besides, i really dont know when the state govt will wake up to these plates. the central govt has made them mandatory, but the state still needs to. i dont want to wait, since I also like the looks of those 'plates. will change them as the govt needs me to, when the mandation comes into effect.

Why don't you just order them from Utsav. High Security Registration Anti Theft Smart Car Number Plates manufacturer India. Fixed price of Rs.850/-.

Hi,

The utsav site states that the snap lock (i presume it means the screws to fit the plate) are non-removable. What if i have to remove the plates tomorrow to comply with some govt rules?

Non removable as in, they are not welded to the car or something. i am sure the plates break when you try to remove them. according to the norms, getting new plates will be impossible, hence the plates cannot be replaced.

The snap locks are optional. You can buy those if you want for extra. Since there is no regulation as of now they are not mandatory.

Basically if you try to remove the plates after they are fixed the nut breaks. Once the nut breaks there is no way to remove the plates from the bumper. Unless you break the whole thing.

Franky, stick some NK before fixing. They rattle like crazy on normal subs. Your sub will tear the plate
