Congratulations frank. That's really a hot looking car. I am not sure how hot it would get once you start ICEing it. Great going.

I agree with raamki. Actually it should be made mandatory for the dealers to use those kind of number plates.

Some more pics. Changed my tyres to PP2's. Was surprised when I was told they also added Sunfilm to my list of accessories. The brand was not displayed on the invoice, it showed Scratch Resistant Film only, but the charge for it was 3000 rupees.
All reviews, test reports and experiences will be documented tomorrow. I am still reeling under the spell cast by the S. I keep taking the keys and taking her out for a spin.. Took a lot of photos. Hope the mods don't mind me loading up this thread with photos. Will take, will post

Congratulations !!!! That was a quick CARGASM you got there !!
Enjoy the days ahead, dont show your lust, because she is going to be yours.

Even with the 205 profile, I still find more space available outward. I think its because of the bulging out wheel arches. Overall its a real real stunner. Eventhough its not a newly launched car, I am sure there will be many eyes turning around while you are on the move.

Congrats Frank, the car looks hot. The skirtings and the pedals remind me of the SFXi. Ohh minus the deal pedal.

I personally liked the headlights blackend around the reflectors.

I will hook onto your threads for updates. Enjoy the drive, and ICEing the babe.

I just saw the new pics posted and got a mild CARGASM myself!

Frank: Is there a USB or a SD card reader in the stock ICE?

Franky

Way to gooooo....and welcome to the 1.6 club. I don't want to repeat the comments, but can't help it. She's got the killer looks and boy, she is the car equivalent of Pamela Anderson ... No wonder she made you coin the new word cargasm. Excellent post and terrific decision.

Congats Frankie.... again. That was really quick. The car looks super in white in broad daylight. So your saga begins now. Enjoy your new machine. You have waited long my friend.

So when is Mocambo or wherever?

thanks. the showroom people fitted the film and there is a warranty alongwith it.

I've had 3M tints for 4 years with no issues. I use the defogger rarely.

the auto-off circuit of the defogger will come into play within 10 minutes of non usage. intelligent!

i guess they do, but i decided on the 205/55 R15's since I was getting a slightly increased clearance, and a slightly softer ride. This might be at the cost of fuel, though. Didn't factor that one until right now

btw, congrats again and waiting to see pics and ICE too!!
thanks. the ICE will begin in about 2 weeks. Waiting for the right time and place to do it. Monsoon might play deterrent, so looking for a workshop. Might even wheel the car to Ajay's new workshop and keep the car there for 3-4 days. but all this, after 2-3 weeks. Waiting for equipment to arrive too.

yes, clever stuff from Ford. One more clever thing I liked was the way the wiper wipes the screen twice after using the washer. After 5 seconds, it comes on again to clean the residue flowing from the top. SO clever, ford!

your wish is my command. Tyre pics will be posted soon. Even I think the Fiesta looks undertyred with ANY SIZE. It's got more to do with the design of the arches than anything else. I mean, when I saw the tyres outside the car, I was flummoxed at their mammoth proportions. But when placed on the car, they looked tiny. LOL.

Have a blast revving it up.
i have been controlling myself. Revved it to 3500 once, because I was too tempted. Keeping it below 3000 though, 2500 is too less ;-)

yea, the S looks quite beautiful with the kit and spoiler. I will switch to the High Sec plates soon, but as of now, the government hasn't fixed the ACTUAL franchise. So there could be discrepancies as to how the final product should look.

COngrats Frank
Looks fabulous in white!
How much was it on road- i guess i miss the price or it was not mentioned on the thread?

Quoting Frank himself- yes, clever stuff from Ford. One more clever thing I liked was the way the wiper wipes the screen twice after using the washer. After 5 seconds, it comes on again to clean the residue flowing from the top. SO clever, ford!

These are indeed nice touches. Even in our Indigo the defogger gets off after 15 mins automatically and the wiper function is also the same as described above.
Which other cars have these, any clues?
