the car i had my eyes on for so long .....

about the car
its an 1997 E250D M/T
fully loaded (except sunroof)
alloy wheels
music system
91K on the ODO
superbly maintained
it was a Company C.E.O's personal car

Why is it that no one writes about the most important aspect of purchase of a vehicle - its price.

Congrats jubin. I've been eyeing a lot of w123 and w124s these days in markets.

Congratulations on buying a W124 the best E Class ever made. The W124 is a testimony of what Mercedes build quality stood for. But one picture isnt enough, we need more to do justice.

Do update this thread regularly with your ownership experience of the star.

1) 4 lacs i think is the right price.
2) no restoration / repair works. it drives as if its just out of the showroom ! !
3)more pictures surely coming soon as too occupied with ganpati celebrations
(actually planing a trip to lavasa so i'll click a lot of pics there)

Congrats for a great purchase Jubin. Enjoy unlimited miles of sheer driving pleasure in it. Check all oils and filters and mounts. if even the slightest doubt, have them changed.

facing a small problem
the ABS light remains on even after switching on the engine .
the manual says if this light is on means ABS id defective ! !
but the ABS still works ( i was in a situation yesterday when i had to ram the brakes hard and steer left...)
calling all Merc experts
