Hey Karthik

Was travelling and lots of work, back now.So as soon as I reached work, logged in to T-BHP!
I havent put the windshield sunfilm yet in the Punto.
Maybe a couple of months down the line would get it done.

Yes, you can fit 6" speaker in the front door.
Hey Mech

If you have booked a car of my colour then check out the tints which are my car.Normal black tints do not look so good in the Punto.Try these and see if you like them.

Hey guys

The remote lock and rear sensors have been installed in the car.
It took close to six hours to have it done.
Four rear sensors have been installed. The sensors have been painted to match the car colour.
Would put up pics today evening.

which brand of central locking did you get? please test it thoroughly , there have been instances of door opening in FIAT cars as locking and door opening lever is the same.

Sad to hear the color fading on the bumpers, better to send a mail with these snaps attached to the Tata-fiat & let them answer this.

I really loved the BLACK dash & BLACK front grills in this variant than the silver finish in E+.Is the same for the Linea as well?

This is how the dashboard looks.

a.Speedometer
b.Fuel Guage
c.temperature guage
d.tachometer

The pics show:

a.Distance travelled till date
b.Total distance travelled in hrs- trip time
c.Distance to empty-this works only till the warning indicator, which means according to the manual 7 litres of petrol remaining.
d.Instant fuel counsumption
e.Fuel consumed for a particular trip - trip meter ( the difference is active variant and emotion etc variant is that active does not have trip B data, it has only trip a data)

The pics have come out a bit dark.is this what you wanted to see?

panel next to steering came off and strange sounds

Hey guys

Today while driving something hit my legs and I put my hands down and since it was dark could not see much and felt something like plastic in my hands, pulled the car over and switched on the lights and i see the panel to the right of the steering wheel has come off.I tried to put it back on.It felt like there are two like strips which stick on to the other side and this has come off.
Anyone else has faced this?
After this when I start the car and move - when i leave the clutch and press the accel a grind grind grind thud thud thud sound comes and goes away and comes on again once i let go of the aceel and then press it again. Its very prominent and have to see why this sound is coming.

Have to call up Fiat now and see which dealer would put it back on as till now there is no confirmation on which dealer would service my car.

Hey Rajini,
You have a very strange problem man. Very sad about it. Will check it in my car tomorrow.

Does the remote locking works properly? How much does it costs

This looks really bad. Take the car to TASS as soon as possible.

That's a sad sight. Yet another example of Fiat's shoddy plastics and QC. I hope you are able to resolve the strange noise.
