@rajiniibm - exactly what I was thinking. That pop-off looks bad. Hope they fix it.

Question is - would TASS honor the warranty since you installed remote/ central locking after the market?

Called up Xenos now and they confirmed that panel had just one screw and remaining were missing when they opened it.
Anyways am going to the dealer in a while to get it fixed back again.

Lets see what they say about the warranty part. Will revert back.

That is just too much for a Garware! Go in for 3M at 3900-4000. Totally worth it.

Hey rajinibm,

The box is for Fuse.
Definitely Xenos people worked on that area to get the line cable.
It's very simple to refix.IMO,there is no screws.only clips.
It has 3 clips and 3 holes to insert it to fix the box cap in its position.
Do you have all clips in place.
if time permits come to my place i'll fix it within 2 mts

I agree with Karthik. There are spare clips in the boot usually. See if you can use them to fix it. You just have to push them into the slot and if you hear the distinct 'click', you are all set to go!

What you say is absolutely correct. There are clips but the clips have broken off.I am going in the afternoon to xenos and then to the dealer - which one?:-) if not able to get it fixed as subramanium said the whole panel would have to be refixed if i am not mistaken.

1st service over and planning trip to tirupathi

Hey guys

Been a while since I posted last.Had loads of work to do and was travelling.
The car had its first service and things went very smoothly at concorde motors.

Planning a trip to Tirupathi tomorrow. Not been to Tirupathi in a long time now and wife says Tirupathi would be quite empty tomorrow as its diwali and we need to go.So planning to leave early morning tomorrow say around 3 am and come back the same night.

This would also give the car a good run after the service and I have not driven the car over 100 till date and plan to push it beyond 100 tomorrow.
Also want to see how the car drives when driven up the hills.
Any good route guys?

Wish you all a very Happy Diwali!

The dash had clips attached to it and they had actually broken off so they refixed them and now its fine.

During first service I had just one more issue of the car giving a strange sound when gears were being shifted from 1 st to 2nd and this they said was because the bottom of the car had probably hit something and the silencer had got hit(thats what i heard them say on the phone). But that was also rectified and now there is no issue

Even now when the car comes off a bumper the rear of the car gives a thud sound even if I go real slow.

The mileage though seems little on the less side where for 1000 rs of petrol I am getting around 175 kms!

Hows your car doing?
