I did not talk about extended warranty - I got the fog lamps as extras in my package

Bugger.. even before you bring Vikram Uncle into this.. when is your vehicle visiting the track.

Congrats Vikram... Now that you are going to have parking problems at your apartment, I would be more than happy to save you some trouble and take the Gypsy

Did anyone realize - Chennai Police have Boleros, so does Vikram. Chennai Police have Accent Crdi s , so does Vikram, Chennai Police have 540s, so did Vikram, Chennai police patrol has gypsies, so does Vikram.

Guess the white fieros with the beacon and dual side boxes + radio transmitter is on the cards pretty soon.

Besides, now all of you know who is gonna sponsor the next meet...

Congrats again Vikram .

Congrats headers! That common-rail has entirely transformed the Bolero, a UV that had character even with the older DI / IDI engines. I've taken a brief spin in the Storm and was pleasantly surprised at the sprinting ability.

I'm sure she will serve you well, but what is a 4x4 fan like you doing buying a Mahindra 4x2! Or is Arka already working on retrofitting a transfer case

Less front dive than the Scorpio and Xylo [Personally my short TD of both of them gave me this impression]
Far less body roll too.

Thanks MM, my tyres are CEAT Formula 1 Steel belted radials with tube!

And yes, they do have fog lamps in yellow too. I guess the placement of the lamps really dont make much of a difference in this particular vehicle and hence did not object to white ones..

Same treatment I had got fromTM for my truck. That remote is typically a Minda or Autocop or the like. Ask for the service engineer's number (for the actual brand of the remote you have). Talk to that S.E for the additional remote.

Got a wty on the second remote too (from Minda, in my case).

I have done speedo indicated 150 with GPS logged 137. I suggest you try it out yourself.

I have done 120 with ease, but my vehicle was only 600kms then.. will try and push graudally! @MC - So is 150 max or is there more to come?

Also, I believe that GPS may not be that accurate in measuring vehicle speed!! I may be wrong!!

Congrats Vikram, wish you many miles of great driving.
Keep us posted on the short term as well as long term experience. Might not be possible to a 4 x 4 installed on the Storm, but then I may be wrong! Gurus please elaborate.

hey congrats! I feel M&M Bolero is a real cool choice. I have known the Bolero Camper since the times I was selling 207 DI for Tata in Rajasthan. The Camper was far superior in its ability to tread on any kind of village roads. Many farmers close to Bikaner even went into the sand dunes using this vehicle without much ado. Congrats again

Regards
