This is very Bad! Did they try opening the dashboard and check? They didnt do that in mine actually.

And one more thing is when driving, i placed my left palm on the dashboard, and the sound stopped. When i withdrew it used to start again! Tried that??

No i didn't try that but i am pretty sure that it wont make a difference in my case.the noise is from the steering column only.btw they did open the dash to work on the steering column.maybe yours is a different problem then.

Rishabh Hyundai guys have no knowledge on this and on contacting Hyundai Motor Plaza, they politely refused, you had to pre-order or just went in and got it done? Also let me know the complete price (including labour + Taxes) and time taken to install the part.
Thanks
I showed them the pic posted by Wildon here nd they entered the part no. and viola! its there!

anyways, the steering column bush makes noise when I go through a rough stretch!

I told the Service advisor regarding replacing it with a urethane bush and he told not to change anything!!!

Please someone post the pic of the part with its part number here so that I can show them what I want!

Fog lamp fittings

After the "dog hit" i always felt that the right hand side fog fitting is not up to the mark, but later it has been fixed at the "Sai colorium".

Yesterday one bikers exhaust pipe made some scratches to my FRH fog again, and this time i decided to fix myself. Removed the front bumper and what i see was little surprising to me.

The Fog lamps are fixed in to the Front bumper, and holders are integrated to the bumper and its thin and made of the same material of bumper Plastic/Fiber.
These holder are very flimsy, any minor hit near to the fog lamp will be a disaster. As you have to change you bumper or have to do a jugad.

Take care of your i20's Front Bumper or else it cost a bomb Approx 5000/-

Attaching the Holder pics

Many cars these days have the fog lamp mounts moulded into the bumper itself.
If the OEM itself is plastic, just imagine the quality of the local stuff

The i20 surely looks better with the blacked out B-pillars. It's done very neatly. But I wonder what will happen to the stickers when it rains?

It looks very good indeed. Perhaps the designers will take note of this thread!

Thanks every one for the response.

Here is my car seat cover pictures. Personally I'm not impressed with the fittings specially of the head rests.

Guys, are you all happy with the AC performance in severe heat[37 degree and above], the performance in severe heat has been horrible. It cools only when the outside temp is cool, it requires a minimum of 10 to 15 mins for the cool air to start blowing properly. I am terribly disappointed with the i20's AC.
