So we don't need to do any wiring for this one right? Just plug in the bulb and its cover?

Also, isn't glove box lamp a standard feature in the new variants? Can somebody pls confirm.

Also, did some one try the Sill Gaurds for I20 in India? My friend has got them for his ANHC and they look quite beautiful.

I always used to wonder what that opening in the glove box was for. Now I know!

I couldn't find an reasonable answer for this from the HASS till now, but fortunately i met up with an Hyundai Mechanic through a friend of mine today. As per him if the vehicle pulls to one side after alignments then its could be case of either,

1. Defective front suspension and steering
2. Drive shaft ball joint problem
3. wheel bearing problem

At present the vehicle is pulling to left side always and steering is not center. HASS claimed that they have balancing and alignment has done on the last repair job (universal joint replacement under warranty)

Is Madhu's is a good option to cross check my car's alignments ? Experts please suggest.

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Wildon,AFAIK the car drifting to left when the steering is left in the dead center position is normal since the roads are banked. Please correct me if i am wrong. The same happens in my i20 too.it veers a bit left if i leave the steering.I got my alignment done at Madhus even after that its veering to left.

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

^^To counter the road slope problem, i drove my car several times on the Vittal Mallya Road, which is fully concrete and almost flat. I also tested my car at the Mantri Mall parking lot (there you will get lots of straight flat surface) just to make sure what i'm saying is right. One of my friend too driven the car couple of times in other roads ( he drives a Wagon R) and complains that my cars is pulling to the left every time.

Nice!! I'll order the part ASAP!!

My 1.2L Asta manufactured in November 2010 doesn't have the glove box lamp as a standard feature.

@ Wildon: Super find! Will get this fixed when the car goes for its first service.

Have you been researching on the front map reading lamp? Sorely missed :(

Also, wanted to check what is the tire pressure to be maintained? As per the manual, its 30 psi (cold tire) if driving without load but I find that a little low. Also, what is the correct psi for hot tire (+3, 4?)?

And wonderful thread! This is becoming one stop shop for all I20 related issues and questions! (5 stars from me too)
