Hi,

The switch has been replaced and now its back to normal. This switch is located under the dash board and near by the clutch pedal seems.

I have taken a picture of the same and the part number is mentioned.
along with the MRP.

Please note that at the end of the switch there is black push button type knob which goes in & out on every time you play your clutch, this button pulls back every time you play but in my case once the button goes in its not coming back and the message to ECU not getting through. I have a video as well with me will upload later.

Well am driving back to bangalore today afternoon, Just wanted to let you know guys from Bangalore that i am starting up a new Plywood Business in Whitefield, immadi Hally, if anyone related to this business field or on upon requirement do contact me.

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

hi, i wanted to know if there is any way to add the bluetooth connectivity to the music sys that comes in the asta version? I heard that it could be done using a bluetooth adapter, but is it any good? I really have no idea how these bluetooth adapters work.
Thanks

Great question - I'm curious about this too, and would love an integrated bluetooth solution instead of a dongle/mirror/visor-car-kit.

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Hi everyone,
It's been so long since i posted.
Thought of updating my First Paid service and i feel this thread is best place

Recently i went once to service station to get new rear view mirror and just asked them to check my steering as i was feeling some strange noise in bumpy roads. they checked and replaced some part which i am not sure.

I20 - Magna - 2009 make (bought in sep 2009).
4th Service @ 13900 - 6/2/11 - Talwar hyundai - shaikpet Hyderabad

Problems
No major problems
I was getting a minor tick sound on rear side.It was so irritating.A new guy wont notice that sound until i point out.It was irritating to me
Rattling sound from dashboard
suspension felt not so good.

Sales guy informed that Service would cost me around 3500.
My car clocked 5k after my last free service. Service guy told that i need to change engine oil even if i don't clock 10k kms for every 6 months. is that true ?

After Service
Car was delivered to my home.Service guy called and said suspension will be good as they replaced urethane pad & yoke spring. Took the drive along with the driver who came to deliver the car.
+ves - Suspension was good
-Ves - Still the rattling sound from rear side not solved.
Informed driver that i would come service station next day.

Next day i went and shown them the sound coming from rear side. they said it will take time. when i called up late in the night they said they have put some glue in rear door and car will be delivered next day.So got my car next day.I didn't hear any sound this time. Good job ,even though it was very minor, they have taken it so important

but guys seriously did the service guys bluffed me by overcharging the paid service?

Charges
1)Engine oil - Rs678
2)Hings Spray -Rs 35
3)Battery term coating- Rs 17
4)D.water - Rs14
5)Filter Assy - eng oil - Rs 75
----------------Total -Rs 817
------------------vat -Rs 119

Labor and service
1)Interior shampoo cleaning - Rs550 (lol.what is this shampoo made of ?)
2)Break cleaning - Rs280
3)antirust spray apply - Rs 90
4)wheel bal - Rs260
5)wheel allignment - Rs325
6)throttle cleaning - Rs 90
7)fule injector cleaning - Rs235
8)Periodic main service - Rs770
9)add of urathane pad & yoke spring - Rs 0
----------------------Total - Rs2600
-----------------service tac - Rs 267

total Bill Rs3804

anyway car was pretty clean. so i didn't ask much about the coast with service guy.

Now the only minor problem i see is i get little sound at dash board mostly near CD player. Sales guy says that we can't keep glue over cd player as it need to be little loose so that it wont get damaged when i go in bad roads.
So is this common to get a little rattle sound near dashboard when driven on bad roads.let me know

I think the post got a litlle longer

You can install a Bluetooth car kit for your phone and also you need a compactable tele-mute lead.

Nice to hear that your steering issues have been resolved and your smile is back

And on the Bluetooth car kit, can you please elaborate? Not familiar with compatible tele-mute lead. Also, are there any branded ones for this? Do the HASS folks do it or we'll have to get it done from outside?

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Bluetooth hands free car kit refer here

For Universal iso harness refer here

Prefer telemute leads from autoleads

Nope HASS wont be fitting it for you and have to do it from outside.

Re: Feels like i'm 20 now - Hyundai i20 Asta 1.2

Got hit by a cab.

These guys never learns. I was stopping at the Lalbagh circle and the cab driver tried squeeze through the little space available on the right, the result- rear bumper and right side wheel arch section got scratched.(fortunately no scratches on the door). Then he tried to pull back and my bumper clips came off

Switched off the engine there itself, headed towards the cab, the front passenger accepted the mistake and was ready to pay for the damages. Headed towards the Hyundai workshop near by K H Road.

The Hyundai guy shown the quote to the cab passenger ,Rs 9500/- , he simply opened his wallet and paid in full to me and left the scene..

I asked them to put back the bumper holding clips and now it looks way way better. I have to leave my car next week or so for the repair.

9500 for the bumper replacement I presume! Then the damage should be much worse than it looks.
I once softly rear ended a santro and my front left bumper was undone together with my front left wheel well cover. Bumper refit with new clips + new wheel well cover cost me Rs 350+. Nothing except a broken tail lamp for the santro.
